i met dan at a public restroom in 1998. back then he wasn't panning for gold, but rather, selling "Dan Hurd's Man Turds", which he sold in canvas bags. Each bag contained 5 pounds of high grade sand with only the finest human fecal materials mixed. The precise contents of each bag was a mystery, and for my 40 dollars, I was rewarded with a bounty of predigested corn and some floss he accidentally swallowed. Thank you dan for your service.
Jason, I agree. The best part of RUclips is the collaboration between different content creators like you three guys I watch all your videos. They are a lot of fun thank you.
The two of you together = pure gold content! Great energy and an authentic mutual respect between you two, entertaining and informative! Much Love/Be Blessed
OK Jason, Dan got me a couple days ago, you got me today.. Starting to enjoy watching if for no other reason than to expand my horizons.. Always had some interest in geology but you AIN'T gonna get me down in some sketchy mine shaft.. I'm 6'7" @ 270lbs, 70yrs old and to set in my ways to crawl down a glorified rabbit hole.. lol.. Let me find your buddies channel and I'll probably subscribe there as well.. Stay Safe..
Imagine how much gold is in the machines, ground, slag and crucibles around Jason’s place. I hope you and Dan continue to collaborate in the future. 🍻👍
Sad I missed you when you were down in Vegas to collab with Jeff W. Hopefully you will get together in the future. It would be great fun to head back down his mine. Looking forward to recollaring that beast. A bit sketchy at the top. 🙂
Neat video Jason. Love seeing what Dan brings in to your machines, to find what he has on some of his claims. Your knowledge combined, and good humor with Dan and Harry is fun. Hope your getting your fi dings from your mine ready to find how much gold. Can't wait..
The best ore that I have found from next to a river were two pieces of quartz weighing about 2.5lbs. So roughly 3x3” round river rocks. Upon crushing and panning, to my surprise, there was .3 grams of gold! Some quick math gives a assay of 7.7 oz per ton!
Funny, Dan seemed a bit under the weather or tired in the beginning of the vid but by the time the gold started running across the table he was 100% Dan!
a friend of mine had really fine gold that wasn't being separated by tables. he ran the ore through a roller mill to crush everything super fine and then screened everything. the screens let the tailings through, but the gold was crushed flat and thin, so he was able to collect the gold from the screens.
Jason you are a true menace. A lot of fun to watch. I don’t miss too many of your videos. Keep up the good work… I hope that you and Dan hit the mother lode on one of your collaborations.
Thanks for the video and insight. It is amazing how many additional resources are used to go from dirt to a consumer grade product. Must be a better way.
love seeing your table be put to work to further prove tailings from someone who already ran them and result in a significant amount of recaptured gold proving your ore processing equipment is worth every penny...hope he buys one of your tables and puts it to good use brother!
Jason your tables are amazing at density seperation producing a very fine smelting product,do u have any videos of the table being used to clean gold from a large placer production run?
Love to see all the work you do. It would be interesting to have you show a flow chart how things works. High xyz the do this path A.... If pdq is present then path B. It would help me understand more.
Jason, if you put a little piece of cardboard under the crucible, in the furnace, your bricks won't stick. That's a cool trick that the guy on BigstackD does.
Jason, collaborating with Dan and Harry is fantastic! All 3 of you rock! Or should I say gold? 😂 Thanks for sharing your adventures! With Dan's outcomes, that was gold-rich ore, no matter where it came from. Even though it took some ingenuity, it smelted down into nice buttons. With the other man's ore sample, your shaker table showed proof that he is missing out on a lot of gold on his table. I was quite surprised at how much gold was in the pan at the end. Now, I wonder if the other cons contained gold as well. If you saved those cons, I would crush them down even finer and perhaps find even more golden goodies 🤔🧐 As always, I await your next adventure and gold buttons! Blessings from Alabama ❤️
Always interesting to see the results of these crushes! When panning hard rock soil samples or crush, I always use a black pan. It's almost impossible to see the super small stuff against the Green Garrett pans (which I love and use all the time for placer). Some of the hard rock gold in my area may even be electrum (a silver/gold alloy), which lowers the specific gravity somewhat and makes it a bit harder to see against the pan.
Put a piece of cardboard down on the brick before you put the crucible in. It will keep the brick from sticking to the crucible. Gr eat to see two of my favorite youtubers together. Love your videos and i cant wait to get my own sandbag from your mine!
When spoke about tailings I noticed the right side your collector cup or canister is too close to the edge as I can see its wash your water off the table. Flakes float as I see there isn't much surfactant in the water or at least I don't see bubbles!
Man i bet you could make money off all these you tubers coming over to use your table and crushers. Think of the ware and tare and the cash they make on there channels to. Can't wait to see when you get time to run a big load of your high high grade ore Jason from your mine. Pour a big brick
The really fine stuff, so difficult to separate. Has anyone tried concentraiting best as possible. Then heat it hot enough to melt gold. So the smalls stick together possibly? Heck if someone would just make s gold/silver magnet things would be soo much easier! Haha..
It's a great time for us also Jason. Thanks.

Still waiting for the 100+ bags to be processed and uploaded...
Me too. I want to see a giant bar of gold.
Me to!!!
@@SharkJumper88who hurt you? 😢😢
How fast do you process and refine ore after dragging it down a mountain, while filming a youtube channel? Wtf, dude. Give the guy a break already.
@@SiteUnscene Relax man. People are just excited to see it. Everyone who watches this channel knows how hard Jason works.
I really enjoy your collabs, you guys allow me to go places I can no longer go, because spinal injuries.
So awesome I seriously love watching your Chanel!! So much information I learn every time! Thank you for sharing with us
Nice collab, Jason, Dan and Harry, ... heavy pans too ya! 🍀⛏⚒⛏ Merry Christmas to you and yours 🎄 A prosperous New Year to come 🍻Cheers.

I like the camaraderie you all have. It reminds me of fishing, just one more cast and you'd never know your luck.😊
That old VW in the background is very cool they made kits to convert the vw engine into a air compressor
Have been enjoying these collabs, best part is there's some similarities between channels but each video is unique. Keep them coming!
Always enjoy the collaboration too!
All good stuff. Thanks!! Season greetings and a golden new year~~
It's awesome watching you 3. Cool stuff.
Found this channel through Dan's, loving the content and your experiences! Lots of fun watching these. Keep up the awesome work guys!
Thank you. Keep working, good luck.
Glad to see you using clear water for final pan out.. Much better view ability, especially with low light conditions

Great videos. I love that you have named the Smelting Lab!
What's the name
Lol😂 "can i touch it"? Hell of a way to find out...that coulda hurt!
Thanks for the video and insight.
It is amazing how many additional resources are used to go from dirt to a consumer grade product. Must be a better way.
Do you use detergents in the shaker tables or is that just protein that's foaming up?
Jason, great way to break into a Saturday brunch.... how's the weather going at your mine?.....⚒️💪🤙⚖️🤠
Cheers Jason

noticed the fire brick stuck to the crucible put a bit of cardboard underneath it next time to prevent that
Top of the line equipment!

Got a 3-fer today on the collab. All 3 channels are great.

if you put peace carboard in between your pot ant stool it wont stick to it. the ash from carboard will keep it from sticking

Используй розовый лоток (кастрюлю). Лучше видно.
I find blue works best.
@@sugarnads а у нас, голубой не очень, на розовом, шлих и золото хорошо видно.
Thank you Jason!
you sold your auger or is it in storage for winter?
how do you clean out the tailings tank? pump it out, scoop it out, flush it out a drain?
GOOD JOB EVERYONE!... MERRY XMAS!
Another great video guys !!!
I got the fever but I live in the wrong state lol Mountaineers always free!!!
Keep up the great work!
Cleanup days are my favorite days

Hey question, do you ever keep your non-precious heavys? Such as Iron, copper and nickel? Do you collect and smelt them at some point in mass to?
When spoke about tailings I noticed the right side your collector cup or canister is too close to the edge as I can see its wash your water off the table. Flakes float as I see there isn't much surfactant in the water or at least I don't see bubbles!
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Canadian Labor, and the interesting use of tools

Did I miss the solution to fix the gold loss from tailings that Dan brought ?
Is this an old video or do you not have the dewatering screw anymore?
Does anyone know the name of the upside down steel pyramid with legs that allows the gold to sink to the tip? Would it work with silver?
Jason I need that old g20 chevy van lol 😂
Dan Hurd Reminds Me Of Prospector From Toy Story 2 😂😂😂
The raw video you guys take is like raw ore, it is processed and filtered into the gold that is your content. High yield product,
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Lots of gold, I'd bet.
Tell me more about that Chevy Van at the beginning.
9:15 @bigstckD taught me that cardboard would keep that firebrick from sticking 😂
Hey Jason, GOLD is a four letter word nobody complains about! Great video! Thumbs up! Stay safe! Jim
And there's Dan looking for picks. 😊😊😊😊😊
Watching from somewhere close to Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Wish I didn’t live a million light years away I’d love to work for this guy seems like fun legit hard work
Do you wash down the machines between samples?
The really fine stuff, so difficult to separate. Has anyone tried concentraiting best as possible. Then heat it hot enough to melt gold. So the smalls stick together possibly?
Heck if someone would just make s gold/silver magnet things would be soo much easier! Haha..
Ya, collaborations makes for good videos also.
Make sure to put some cardboard down to prevent the crucible sticking to your firebrick :) Something I learned from watching bigstackd's channel.
