You're kind of insane at AX combat. I've been thinking there's no way one of my favorite ships aesthetically, the Dropship, can be good for serious AX combat. Yet in your videos you prove time and again it's less the ship and much more the pilot. Keep up the good work!

Good new CMDR, the Dropship has AX potential. I've taken a Hydra with it. So if you love it, fly it!

@@soldiersailor3196 oh, not new! Just stubborn haha. I moved to PC after years on xbox, and this time around decided to give the Dropship a try while fully engineered and was very pleasantly surprised. I just really like how it looks, but was worried about its potential in serious AX hunting.

Astounded at how many of the hydra's shots missed even when you were spiking. That small profile is a great asset.

haha the thing is, I genuinely think that the Viper MK4 was intended to be used with FA OFF - the aspects that make it's handling worse in FA ON actually make it's FA OFF flight really really smooth :)

When I go into a CZ the V4 is the last ship I want to engage. Hard to hit and tough, I'll take on a Python or Cutter any day over going after a Viper 4.

Great video! Just the reason I needed to buy a Viper Mk IV. How much of that build is just what you had in inventory? There's an AXI build for the Viper Mk IV that's pretty similar, but it uses lightweight armor and puts the super capacitors experimental on the distributor, instead. It ends up having similar stats to yours, so maybe I'm overthinking this.
