Per Frontier patch notes, "Ram Tah has made further technical advances and the Tactical Core Chip is no longer required as part of the recipe for Anti-Guardian Zone Resistance". Thanks to all who watched. More to come soon when I have some time.
FDEV nerfed the chip requirement a couple ticks ago. I just found out the other day. Just need 2 hardened surface fragments and one caustic crystal per module now.
Thank you. I lost my ship 4 or 5 times yesterday trying to do this at a spire. then I saw someone used a rocket launcher on foot - bought what I thought was a rocket launcher only to find it shoots bullets (I've not use on foot much...don't care for it), and my SRV got nailed in seconds. I did lose a ship the first time following your method, but 2nd time had better luck. got 9 chips which is enough for what I want to try. So again, thanks heaps.
Glad I was able to help. Rockets were going to be the next thing I tried if this didn't work. If you have a buddy to run point while you gather up mats, the spires are usually better. Solo is a pain. I saw 4 rebuys at the spires for 6 chips and then found this settlement. Now I have more than I should ever need.
Thanks. It was a reply to a thread on the frontier forums. It actually was mentioned in the original video. But it was over 15 minutes long. I cut it down.
@@smoothcannibal5371 Is it based on system economy or settlement type? I've dealt with Banshees before and havent found revenants without a banshee being there. Also, if you have a ship that sits below 20% heat, Ive found that the thargoids that warp in seem to MOST of the time just immediately leave since they cant see you
Well the only places that I'm aware of for finding revenants are military settlements and the still active spire sites. I have been to several military settlements prior finding out about this settlement that's in the video. I have not seen or come across any more that do not spawn banshees. I'm inclined to think this might be a game bug potentially. It seems awfully unique. There may be more for all I know. I've hit this site up 20 or so times. The interceptor always comes after me. The ship I am using is the titan bomber ship. It does run sub 20 percent heat. I've used heat sinks and it didn't make any difference I noticed. That could be my luck though. Easier to just bail and reset the settlement for another go.
Using your specs I went with several ships then an Imperial Clipper with a 609 boost moving modules around to take care of the live and dead Titans It is so fast avoiding damage and an SCO drive adds to it. Then a 7A reinforced thermal block shield gathering tactical core chips at Mapon. Gathering these components is sort of like running around in an SRV finding the difficult materials we need. Just add lots of Thargoids attacking you for fun! Use the enhanced AX missile racks versus the engineered versions with 10 percent more DPS and 100 percent thermal. My class 2 enhanced AX missile racks on the Clipper works fine at Mapon then change out the modules to get harden surface fragments at the live Titan. Good news is I have a docking computer. To each their own. Ragards
I blindly picked up the engineered missilie racks because I figured they would be better when I built out my titan bomber. If it wasn't for costing materials, I'd have switched to the non engineered ones.
To exit the area of the Titan after Torpedo Runs, I get out into the asteroid field. Then log out to the main menu. Just have to sit for 13 seconds or so to exit. When I come back into the game I am on the outside of the toxic cloud. Then I can plot for my refit station then prepare for my next run.
Your neutralizer wouldn't have done anything against the interceptor even with four pips because you're using the one for getting through the maelstrom pulse, not the shutdown field neutralizer
The pulse neutralizer also works against the shutdown field. Just uses more power and doesn't protect other commanders. Going in solo and not having to switch out the module (to head into the maelstrom later) is the philosophy behind it. 2 pips on systems still makes for a softer shield and wasn't doing me any favors shutdown field or not.
If you mean fleet carrier, no you don't need one. I just have one. I just had it out there in case I needed to alter my ship. And I'd have a place to respawn and or park my ship closer to the settlement. A lot of the systems around there are stil under thargoid control.
I will get in game later and check it out. Something might have changed after the last server tick. I've been trying to check on the settlement once in a while to make sure it still works since it isn't going to last forever.
Well I just hit up mapon system. It didn't act any different than usual. I jumped in and out three times to test and nothing out of the ordinary. Might have just been your luck. It is all randomness with how the game handles events. Make sure you're in solo. Open may affect it somehow but I don't know for sure.

Oh no, how do you get chips now?

You show exactly what add y I’ve been telling people to do.

Super helpful took me one run to get 12. top man
Nice! Settlement won't last much longer so good it worked out for you.
Much appreciated!
Worked out perfectly. My shard bomber is ready for the next Titan.
Awesome to hear. Looks like at the current pace it might be 3 weeks (or even 4 weeks) until Raijin is vulnerable.
Thank you, everting help's
Hey, great guide! How do you know which settlement to go to?

That's an awesome tip.
Thanks heaps
Pelissier's Command is now under normal operation functions.
Thank you for saying something. I haven't checked this week to see if it's been taken back by humanity yet. I'll add a caption.

Wait we have to have a carrier? No!

Trying this now I get overrun by scouts and interceptors immediately.
