I live in Massachusetts and have never found an Arrowhead no matter how long I look for one. I live vicariously through this channel and its videos. Thank you for uploading! 😃
I use a golf club with the main part of the head cut off. I sharpen the remaining piece of metal left(where it attaches to the shaft) and use it as a probe. It’s lightweight, strong, and works well for me where I hunt… Great video men! 👍🏻👍🏻
I enjoy finding Hammerstones as much as I do Heads. I found a nice one last year. I was working some really hard material and my bopper busted halfway thru making my point. Something told me go get that hammerstone and try it out. See if I could finish the point. From the first flake it just felt perfect in my hand and thinned down the peice really well. So it has become part of my Abo Toolset. Some folks would be upset over that but the Great Spirit said it was a tool and to use it as such. Nice Finds Fellers 😎🏹🤙
@@RedEyedPatriot if it was good enough and worked well the first time when it was made it can work well and be used again. Sometimes lots better than than anything modern..I'd bet the original maker and owner would be proud to know it was still working.
Good informative video. 👍👍 ..but there's them two goomers with them pointy sticks again 🤣🤣🤣 ..the way the snake jumped i thought it was fixing to hop up there on four legs an run off😮😳
@@HeartbreakerRelics great video. Yes they sure are, lots of people don't realize how quick and strong snakes can be,😳that was great camera work on their part to capture that and great editing too Spike. And I'm just a'pickin' about the "pointy stick" bit..Those fellows are really good and dedicated at their hobby. Be well all and God bless . ..and remember folks..VOTE early and vote often!😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
What did you do to make your probe or where did you get it? I see some comments here with ideas on how to make a probe. Curious how you made/acquired yours. Love your videos! Living vicariously through y’all as well.

Thanks so much for the great comment!
Never stop looking. I looked for years before I found my first in 2019.
I found quite a few points in Concord and Sudbury. Keep researching and hunting, they're out there ...
Very nice finds! Good to see some out of the fields intact.
Thanks.

Just any piece of metal rod will work as long as it's not very big.
I wonder if probing is how " Spike" got his nickname lol
lol Nope!
How long is the probe?
Around 12 inches.
At 7:42, it's a sexstone....just another f'in rock.😁
