    So glad you put this up.
    Can’t wait for ADE turf to get their Stirlings in to Australia (?september 2022 think they said) the wait is killing me.
    Such great info though thank you

    Allett is King. Best in the Business. I'm getting my Kensington 20B from my Canadian Distributer. These mowers are superior to anything out there. Ryan Knorr needs to switch to the Allett from Zwardman. Zwardman just copied the Allett cartridge system. Plus they don't have batteries that remove, plug in to charge and wait. The Sterling is on another level. Abit expensive but wow what a beautiful machine.Smart to team up with EGO for battery and handle design. Keep up the good work Austin. Oh and NOT China made.

      I like this comment. I too am Canadian and am happy that these mowers are available out of Ottawa. Every point you mention here is well taken

    Thank you for the Q&A video. Is the adjustable lawn comb "usable" for a lawn with thick dense Bermuda grass? Warm season grasses, with their stolons, are so much different than cool season. I'm concerned that the Sterling may be a great mower for cool season grasses, but less so for warm.

      Hi Jeff- The more you use the cartridges the easier it will become as you will be reducing the thatchy thick layer. The comb can be lifted out of work (or removed) until your lawn is suitable

    I think a revised aerator should be definitely looked into. Instead of the hollow tine suggestion mentioned, a solid tine aerator could be produced with closer tines and more of them than the existing one.

    • @boyasaka

      Daniel hibbet who produces and maintains the best lawns in the UK ,never aerates his lawns
      This proves to me ,you don't need to aerate
      The proof is in his lawns ,the best in the UK and his lawns speak for them selves

    • @grahammacklam4736

      @@boyasaka He doesn't have to because he builds his lawns using rootzone, a very sandy medium that resists compaction. Contrast this to many lawns that are clay based and its a different story. Aeration also stimulates microbial activity too which has many benefits.

    To aid a decision regarding a purchase an open mow day when there would be the opportunity to try a Stirling mower would be appreciated. I know you have a dealer network where the machines are on display but it would be unrealistic for some to have a piece of grass/lawn available for demonstration purposes. A selfish request, as someone who resides in the North Midlands I would be able travel to any central open mowing day, like many machines it is important to have a ‘ feel ‘ for the handling, but like having a test drive in a car. Interesting bit about a bigger Stirling for a price not so far removed from the 20”…. Reel mowing seems to require constant mowing and a wider machine would make that investment worthwhile for me…. I’ll be waiting and 25” has my vote!

    On the push mower anything is better then what they pass off here in North America.

    25:25 yes, yes and yes. Hopefully at least a 27-inch. The only thing holding me back is these [cartridge] machines are too small. It'd take me 5 -6 hours to mow my yard with a 20" on almost 4000sq meters.

    Heard that the Allett usa is not going to have Horizon company as their main distributor , do you have a company yet to replace them ? Also, will you have a ego replacement battery made for the liberty 43 owners ?

    • @ALLETTMOWERSUK
      @ALLETTMOWERSUK  3 года назад

      Hi Walter Allett Usa are our usa dealer now. No we won’t be putting the ego on the liberty range as this is a lower spec machine
      Hope this helps

    Hi Austin, I am about to become a new customer to Allett through a distributor. I trust you understand new customers concerns ($) when stepping up to the Allett cylinder mower…Kensington 20H in my case, that if should there be any issues with reel to bed knife ( within warranty) not being as expected with a perfect even cut as Allett’s intention are, and if an fault is within the product Allett will rectify without extra expense to the customer. This is my only concern and valid question as I’m prepared to pay near $6K AU with the understanding I’m getting what I have viewed online as a truely top notch long-standing manufacturer. 🙂 Also has there been any adjustments to production from say 5 years ago to today’s Kensington range? All the best and looking forward in your reply and continuing viewing your online information 👍🙂

      @ALLETTMOWERSUK  3 года назад +1

      Hi Shane you will have a warranty with your mower- if it's a warranty issue it will be solved by your local Allett Dealer yes. The majority of cylinder to bed knife issues are caused by incorrect adjustment which we have videos on to help with- customers setting the contact too tight etc. In terms of the Kensington - There have been no drastic changes no . For the roller can’t you use rubber plug inserts in to holes say 20mm round plugs that are replaceable when worn out.

    • @ALLETTMOWERSUK
      @ALLETTMOWERSUK  3 года назад

      So you can have both a smoother and grooved roller you mean?

    Pity a rotary roller isn't an option from Allett but you can't make every type of mower
