Typewriter is my #1 for now. I think there's some "retro" collectibility to it if you include sets like the new Polaroid camera. A Frame Cabin is my #2, but I do expect that to be talked about everywhere, so maybe it won't be my #2 by the end of the year.
Great content Brian! Love the typewriter & A-frame. I had the same thoughts about the Globe. I can’t stand the set, but after the world map performance, it MUST be considered! Also, keep a VERY close eye on the Fender. It doesn’t have a ton of sellers on EBay and there still seems to be a lot of sales velocity. I think that one is one of my early picks for a sleeper set…
My estimates are about 3-4 ideas sets getting retirement this year. Most likely the Jazz Quartet, BTS Dynomite and fenders guitar. I wouldn't mind Treehouse getting pushed back for another year, but it does contain large quantity of "chocolate" bricks that tend to break after a few years so def remember to refresh your stock with ones that's been newly produced if you intend to hold it. There are knock off versions for many sets, especially the botanical line. I’m sure it has a small impact, but I believe most people still value buying the name brand LEGO product.

The problem with the Typewriter is that Temu / Alibaba does ripoff budget versions of this set - presumably denting the resale value.
