Mine just keeps blinking in the case, and when I take it out it doesn’t do anything it doesn’t turn on, but as for the left one it does work. I’m really confused.
but I found a small fix, you need the charger that comes with it. I took it out gently but it worked sometimes but you have to take it out quickly but if it doesn't work keep repeating until it blinks blue because it worked for me.
This fixed my issue with one earbud not charging in the case.. It took a few attempts before I saw the orange and blue light in correct sequence ,but it worked eventually 👍
I replaced my left earbud and couldn't figure out how to pair the new one with the old. This worked thank you so much i was about to bin them. Liked and subscribed 👍🙌
If you guys buying a replacement earbud YES THIS WORKS . I bought a right ear replacement ear bud for my c500 and it worked after I did this tutorial . Delete the sony app and remove the headphones from your device in the Bluetooth settings then follow this guys tutorial it wors. Then reinstall the sony app and pair them it works as of August 2024
I just gave it a shot I believe mine need repair but you're my last resort before that, either way thanks so much! Helps when people make videos that the bloody manual doesn't really state easily
Thank you this actually worked, I broke one and bought another singular one and couldn't get them to pair to eachother and no where would tell me, finally found this after about 20 mins of pure frustration. Thanks a million
Thanks, this worked after I had some but with only my right ear pairing. Remember to delete the old Bluetooth pairing and re pair with the factory reset headphones.
@@lshelbyl5557 Sadly yes the defect can only be fixed by sony repair. Issue is there's no guarantee it would work plus the high cost. Return them for a refund and get a different brand
I wouldn't recommend these ear buds to anyone. I've had to reset them 3 times in the past 6 months. Thank you for helping me out getting these buds to reconnect but I'm finding some different ones here soon
There are two options given in the manual. One is re-initiatizing the headset and the other is factory reset. The title shows factory reset but the video shown here is the procedure of re-initiatizing where the key must be released when LED turns orange and press again untill blue LED flashes. According to Sony demo video to factory reset, press down the buttons all way down(no releasing the button when LED turns orange) and release the keys only after the orange LED turns to blinking blue and finally stops
You're correct that the video shows the "re-initializing" process as being the "factory reset" process for this headset. The reason why I do this is because the term "factory reset" does not officially appear in the documentation for the Sony WF-C500. Since the "re-initializing" process is the one that resets all settings (to factory ones) and wipes the pairing information on the WF-C500, I view "re-initializing" to be the "factory reset" for this headset. The steps that you're describing as "factory reset" in your comment are the steps for simply "resetting" the headset. "Resetting" does not wipe the pairing information or the other settings on the headset. It's more like a hard reboot of the headset than anything. I do appreciate this comment though. I probably should've clarified this aspect of things in the video and will keep this in mind for future videos. Thanks.
when i take them out of the case they won’t flash no matter how long i hold the buttons. they have been charging for multiple days, but the case will only stay on the yellow light. i have also cleaned all the charging ports. any solutions?
Then it's possible that there is something defective with the earbuds. Did you just get them? Cause if possible, you may want to return and get a refund.
@@OctillionthTech they're a couple of months old. They were working fine when I got them, but I didn't use them for a couple of weeks and now they won't turn on

For those who are facing right side not working problem :- ✅ If your earbuds blink inside case in red then there is one solution i found and it works… Solution:- Drop the earbud from a certain height and put it back into case.✅✅
My earbuds stutter. Even when the voice of the lady stutters. Only on one side, yet they both randomly cut out. When i hold down one of the sides fir factory reset it just stops blinking blue light even before turning orange. Is it just damaged? And why and how?
It sounds like there is something fundamentally damaged with the earbuds. I have no idea why you're experiencing this issue, but it doesn't sound like factory resetting it will fix it.
@@OctillionthTech i had this problem. tried to reset it but the lights are not in sync. you wont be able to pair it also. my fix was buying samsung buds
For some reason it’s like my ear buds aren’t synchronised, the lights flash independently from each other with one flashing slower and not going orange.
@@franciscovalenzuela2256 no unfortunately, it's still the same I've tried pretty everything I can think of but to no success. I think I'll just have to send then in to get fixed or get a new pair. I hope that you can find a solution but I don't have much to say that could help, sorry.

My right stop and wasn't charging. First I clean the case connectors and my ear buds. Then I let it charge for 2 days, honestly I just thought the right ear bud was finished. I noticed it charged up but when I went to listen with them, the right bud gave me a cracking sound. So, I just reset them, now they are working find.
