I can only imagine how harrowing this must be. My dad was a retired marine who served in Vietnam - he struggled with this every Fourth of July and it was heartbreaking how he never wanted to be the cause of us not celebrating with fireworks. It always baffles me how inconsiderate some people can be when it comes to how they insist that it's their holiday and nothing will stand in their way of lighting off fireworks, even at all hours of the night. I'm so sorry our Vets have to endure this.
