  • This is a tutorial of Nvidia Broadcast to use Eye Contact feature (previoulsy called GazeRedirect), tested in Zoom Meeting, but also could be used in Google Meet, or Teams or else.
    The Eye Contact or GazeRedirect is some feature to redirect our eye sight to camera even we are not directly looking at camera. Previously it needs Maxine Augmented Reality SDK and some script and workaround with OBS, but now it's as simple as install and a button click.
    Download: www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/...
    [!!! For now it's RTX Only !!!]

    This is the clearest RUclips video I have seen thus far, out of all the ones I looked up to use in applications like Zoom, Skype, and Google Meet. I'm grateful. Despite having a Macbook Pro, this system is incompatible with Macs. I'd like to purchase a laptop. To avoid issues resulting from insufficient system resources, I require a configuration that allows me to use the Eye Contact feature both now and for at least 2-3 years. Which Nvidia GeForce RTX card and RAM should I buy for a laptop to avoid becoming obsolete in a few years? Thank you once again.
    P.S. I am aware of Nvidia's minimal specifications from their website. I'm looking for actual user feedback.

      for a laptop, you could choose laptop with Nvidia GPU like RTX 3060 or RTX 4060, it will serve you for even for 3-4 years as technology progressing. but for a heads up, a laptop with discrete GPU (RTX) will not have a slim form factor. I have a laptop with RTX 3060 from my office, and it's kinda heavy.

      Thank you very much for your prompt response. As I've told you I'm a Mac user and my only purpose is to buy a laptop to use Nvidia Eye Contact feature for my prosper online job interviews and I do not want to spend unnecessary money just for eye contact. I appreciate if you can frankly say that if it's a great feature to buy a laptop and Any cons please. And what should be the ram of the graphic card for the best use of eye contact?

      @@SomeUnBoulogne if you are Mac user, have you ever use Windows before? I mean, this Nvidia Broadcast only works on Windows. Windows ecosystem and apps are different, do you want to learn Windows and all its apps you want to work with? For me personaly, this Gaze Redirect / Eye Contact from Nvidia Broadcast app is a nice feature we Windows / Nvidia user have, but it's not a killer feature that makes me want to switch OS. Maybe you should consider it first. For your question, the VRAM of the laptop GPU is often only half of the desktop counterpart, the RTX 3060 for example, the desktop version have 12GB, and laptop only have 6GB of VRAM. and 6GB of VRAM is enough to run this Nvidia Broadcast with Eye Contact.

    • @SomeUnBoulogne

      I used to use Windows until I bought my first macbook pro in 2016 and I'll continue using mac unless I need to use eye contact. I wont play games on Windows laptop or anthing else but eye cont.

    • @marhensa
      @marhensa  Год назад

      we need RTX GPU to run Nvidia Broadcast app.. could be because the tensor core, the AI processing runs more efficiently from there. Hope there's workaround someday to run it from GTX.
