A window in the bathroom is a game changer!! I moved to a place with one in 2021 and now I can’t go back. Taking a shower during sunset/sunrise is suuuuch a mood 🙌

I very excited for you!!!! I think you’ll love OKC. I am retired military and am used to moving a lot, when we made our final move to Texas I was a bit sad to leave North Dakota but we wound up loving this area. In my opinion… moving a lot helps you narrow down attributes and features you love and when you finally make the last move you know what you truly love and it’s so easy to “settle down” ❤

One thing I lucked out on in my current home ... all the sinks have arched faucets that have enough clearance for me to get planters or watering cans underneath. Sinks with shorter faucets make that impossible.
I'm so excited about the moving content, and exploring all the new places you'll find. I'm sure you'll end up loving it. It sounds cliche, but home really is wherever you make it. You made this home, and you'll do it again at your new one, and now with more experience. As someone who moved a long distance though, I know that all the positive stuff people say doesn't make it that much easier to accept. 💚
For those apartment dwellers, especially with no yard access, windows are important. But even better are porches! My place has a big north window, but I have an enclosed west porch (3 season) and an outdoor east porch for some of my succulents and garden plants. Most of my plants though are on shelves with LED lights. Best wishes on your move!
So exciting! I remember when you moved from AZ and hauling all your plants! I thought of that often as I drove my car from WA to AZ, filled with all my plants and my dog!

I have a small house and backyard but have an area that I can build a small greenhouse that I am super happy about doing that and want to build a deck on the front of my house and maybe instead build a sunroom and then have more room for more plants and also have plant lights that are so great at making plants happy also. My husband was in the military and we were stationed at Tinker AFB in OKC. We lived there for four years and I really loved it.
