To be fair to him hes lucky to be here still as he has severe mental health issues in the earl;y 00s and lost his hair , hence why hes wearing a hat all the time to cover the bald lol
It's a lifelong mental health condition, he has bipolar, it's not a temporary thing, I have it also, most people who have it can't work or function properly, he must be lucky
u can be as young as he is ...change your diet , start exercice every day & bring your passions back in your life . How much u bet that within a year u would believe how good u feel ?
He still has his magical voice. Usually people sound different as they mature but his voice sounds just as youthful as it ever was. Not that there is anything wrong with aging, he just has captured youth in a bottle with his style, demeanor, movement and vocals. Maybe he really is the vampire he portrayed in that movie 🖤
only people with mental health issues ( I HAVE BEEN THERE) can know the depth of the places you go to, and to come back as strong as this is amazing well done and carry on doing what makes you happy still got the best eyes ever xx
Adam has always been a favorite! I was mystified when he seemed to have fallen off the planet but since he's been honest and courageous enough to share his issues and why he vanished for so long my admiration is off the charts! He's a fantastic advocate for others who contend with these same issues every day and proof that you CAN win and don't have to give up doing what you love! Hats off to Adam!!!
@@brmc6145 I'm not going to go into detail but am well aware there's nothing simple about it so please don't assume my statement implies anything of the kind. It simply means that as a public figure his being so honest and upfront about his own situation has helped make more people aware of what it's like for those who deal with this every day. That you do so is very much to your credit and I wish you the best.
@@brmc6145That's not true. I have it, and I am fully functional. I have been an RN for 28 yrs, and I am state certified to teach classes on mental illness and developmental disabilities. Many people with Bipolar Disorder are able to live full lives, as long as they stay on their medications, aside from the fact that there are two types of Bipolar Disorder. Type 2 is far more manageable, due to hypomania vs mania with potential psychosis. Every person is different. A person has to want to get well and remain on their medications. He is living proof. I also have an uncle with Bipolar disorder who is fully functional, and my sister's now deceased mother - in - law (cancer) had it. As long as she stayed on her medication, she was fine, and she was able to function in society. See a theme? It all boils down to personal responsibility. That's leaving out all of the patients that I have ever taken care of with the disorder, whose symptoms are well controlled by their meds. Out of all of them, I only have one who still has delusions and manic episodes, and that's because the psychiatrist decided to decrease and remove meds due to state regulations (he lives in a group home). We are now adding meds to his regimen again. No side effects noted, and yes, he is able to tell us. If someone isn't able to function, they are either not on the correct medication, or they aren't taking them. Or they are using their diagnosis as an excuse. Incidentally, most of the time is spent in a depressive or neutral state, rather than a manic state. Try telling people with clinical depression that they shouldn't be working, because most do out of necessity. I still have severe depression to the point of apathy about my life (can't take antidepressants with Bipolar), and I still cycle. I still work. There are many just like me. Most of us can't afford not to work. I also have CRPS in my right ankle, which causes severe, chronic pain. I qualify for disability. Who the hell can afford to not work for years waiting for a disability hearing to work in their favor? More importantly, if one is capable of working, who wants only a little money, when you make more by having a job?
It's difficult to live up to peoples memories and what they may expect, especially when you're a perfectionist. The thought doesn't leave you. . No easy feat and all you want to do is make people happy buuuuut. .. Never underestimate the blood, sweat and tears of fabulous determination, love and the enigmatic pull of Adam and the band because I would've happily waited for as long as I had to because THEY BEYOND ROCKED IT! No matter what year or where, let this be a lesson to all those who try to replicate or question what 'it' is.... The genius and beauty, inside and out of a true showman CAN'T be imitated and NEVER dissipates! Just take a little 'hibernation' time every now and again... THANK YOU with so much LOVE. .. til the next time. XX
So happy he is back. Especially in this condition. Manicdepression is nothing that comes and goes easy but even more incredible he is doing well. hopefully we get new ant music for ant people
He was the headline of an 80s bands act in Ward Park Bangor Northern Ireland (hometown of Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol) in the summer of 2022, he was brilliant, took me back to my youth. Pure class
Adam Ant is a fantastic performer and artist🐾I saw him and his band at Cain's Ballroom a few years ago. He never slowed down his show for 2+ hours. If you ever have the chance to see Adam Ant. Do It! Cheers Y'all🐾
First concert that I ever went to 1984 Strip tour with the Romantics opening up. Indianapolis.IN Market Square Arena the arena is no longer there. Great to see him still rocking with the double drummers,
❤🎉 oh my goodness I pray that I'll be able to get to a concert with friends to hear Adam ant I haven't gone to his concert since I was 15 or 14 years old I pray blessings over his friends and family in Jesus keep singing Adam
Great videos i got sent back to my seat as i went down to front of stage & was there 30 mins before security moved me bk to my own seat. First time i had seen him live. I just had to be as close as i could to him even if it was for a few mins I am ill since seeing him i have ADAM ANT FEVER 😍🥰😂
He’s live in concert and still sounds great at 67. That’s talent there. Love you Adam Ant!
He's 67??????
67? You have got to be joking, haven't you?
@@larskolme9740 no he’s actually 68. His b-day is 11/03/1954
Must Be Something Inside.
I can't believe he's 67! He's still as amazing as ever!
To be fair to him hes lucky to be here still as he has severe mental health issues in the earl;y 00s and lost his hair , hence why hes wearing a hat all the time to cover the bald lol
looks 42
he sure is
Geez he's gorgeous
I remember in the '80s we all used to try to dance like Adam 😁
He looks so happy and a healthy now. Super proud of his progress with his mental health. Really hoping he decides to make another record🤘🏻❤️
It's a lifelong mental health condition, he has bipolar, it's not a temporary thing, I have it also, most people who have it can't work or function properly, he must be lucky
I know, right!? He found his mojo again, right down to the moves.
He still looks good 😊
Good to see Adam looking healthy and happy. Full kudos to him.
Classic Rock magazine has always said; "If you want to see a gig where the Singer gives 110% every time, then go and see Adam Ant"!
🤘🏻
Rick Springfield is the same way.
Like Adam but this is pathetic
than u need to see the Pixies & Frank Black
He seems to be going through the motions here. This is his number one song and he is not playing to the crowd at all. It’s like there is no audience.
Wow 67 years old…what a legend .
This dude is nearly 70... Ive never seen a rock star age so little
Yes it’s because he don’t drink and he don’t smoke…lol
@@jorgenroed6213good one haha

Same here 😏
And now 2 years off 70, and in great shape, looking and sounding EXCELLENT.
I thought he was gorgeous in the 80's as a teen. He's still good looking. wow. Impressed.
Man, I want to drink from whatever fountain of youth Adam is sipping from. Unreal, he looks fantastic. Sounds just like always did as well. Crazy!
u can be as young as he is ...change your diet , start exercice every day & bring your passions back in your life . How much u bet that within a year u would believe how good u feel ?
No need for a fountain to drink from, just dye your goatee beard and sideburns and wear a hat to cover your baldness.

Amazing, isn’t it?
Of all the artists of that era,Adams one of the best,he's never lost it! Love you Mr ant!
Adam Ant would make an excellent Jack Sparrow if Mr Depp ever retires.
....or he can be his daddy in the next movie. Like when Sean Connery was Indiana Jones' father.
Adam ironically looks younger than Johnny Depp...😂
Im only just seeing this and as he took his jacket off at the beginning I thought the exact same thing x
He’s 67? Holy crap! He looks damn good for his age.
Except he can't act.
