- Back in the summer of 81 i was in West London with a friend looking for Rough trade records, I saw a guy window shopping and said to my mate that's Adam Ant, it was with a little skull and crossbones in his ear, he signed my friends AtoZ and all I had was a pound note which Adam signed and I still have, he took us to Rough trade records, anyway a little while later he released this with the line "write it on a pound note pound note" coincidence? Maybe.
Saw him two consecutive tours in New Orleans once with INXS opening. Just phenomenal. INXS returned the following year headlining. We were all young once
@@melissas4874 Because it never went away; it was a genre loved by probably hundreds of millions of people around the world. Some of it was great, some ok, some awful like any genre.

Two drummer ala James Brown
Yes but probably more the Glitter band actually.
Moves pretty good for a 70 year old and he's gotten a lot of mileage out of this song.....lol
This and the other dozen or so hits. Plus some brilliant albums
There was some Shit music in the 80's. You all missed the Best decade, The 70's.
Nobody missed disco.
Nobody missed folk and bay city rollers
