20210919 Eastern Swallowtail Caterpillar

Adorable journey of one of the fourth instar swallowtail caterpillars. S/he climbed all the way up the stick from the parsley plant and then turned around and went all the way down, pausing and exploring along the way. Caught only the return journey. I teased him/her with some cilantro blossoms near the end, but s/he was not interested. And not threatened either, because the foul smelling orange horns (osmeteria) did not come out. I think this guy/gal has one more molting event before s/he pupates.
