Haha! Yeah, the crazy part is this all looks like I’m having a good time but in reality I’m super focused on getting as many shots and as much as a story as possible so I didn’t even swim.
Thankyou for showing this amazing place and for inspiring us with new places to travel! It’s true in western countries we don’t know anything about that part of the world. By the way, “Nariz” means “nose” in Spanish and it made me smile! :)
I'm now on my way to Kyrgyzstan, largely thanks to this video. I'll climb as opposed to sitting by a lake, but.... thank you so much for introducing me to this fantastic covid-craziness free place!
Great video. Yes the people of Kyrgyzstan are remarkably friendly and good natured. And the mountains are beautiful. Looking forward to visiting that remarkable nation again soon!
I live in Kazakhstan and I've never considered Kyrgyzstan as a place worth visiting, I've always assumed that it was a mediocre country, but this video actually made me want to go there. The mountains and the lake are absolutely gorgeous. And if they look this beautiful on a video, they must be 1000x times more amazing in real life.
I like how you find positive in everything you see :) I personally lived in Kyrgyzstan for 18 years but it is thanks to your vision I see all the beautifulness of this country. Many thanks, Peter!
Hey Peter, thanx for sharing the experience. Btw Yssyk-Kul lake is the one of the deepest lake and also it is litbit salty. Beautiful, authentic. Hope u enjoyed the place. Thanx again! Cheers!
Peter thank you very much for showing our country, I feel like it is very underrated and not many people heard of it. Many people assume immediately because there is Stan that it's hostile or dangerous, but in fact I feel it's safer there then in US.
I was born and bred in Issyk Kul and i must tell you that people over there are very hospitable, kind and not yet spoiled by tourists and other newcomers.Sometimes even very naive. Its a shame that when people hear 'STAN' they think of negative things. As peter said,Pakistan and Afghanistan are world apart from Kyrgyzstan and Kazaqstan. I live in the west now and you become hardened up,too serious and indifferent to others. So nice to be reminded of our roots, simple life and that life is not only about money and sometimes its good to travel around and explore new things.New cultures, new lands. Its great to have such a diverse world!!! Once again, nice video Petya)
Thank you for your fantastic intro about Kyrgyzstan’s nature. Big love from Kyrgyzstan. Please include subtitles in Kyrgyz. I would highly appreciate your help to keep our local language alive
Hi A Alm! Thanks for your support here :) It’s a solid suggestion and understand what you’re saying but I have no contacts in this department. If you know anyone who would like to do this then let me know and I can send them the srt. File If you know of someone have them email me at contact@petersantenello.com Thanks!
I have been out there for a good while. You do a rather good job of showing the basics and a bit more. Taking the fear out of travel for people to places like the Stans is a good thing!! Thanks, Doc G
I live the USA for now but I'm from Kyrgyzstan. I miss my country. And of course Yssyk Cool is the most beautiful lake in the world. 😉 Thank you for this video and let me see this country in the mountains.
hello Peter! Thank you for the trip it was very nice to see your homeland! I live abroad but miss my homeland))! very cool review! I wish you a good rest in Kyrgyzstan!
Thanks, Peter for spending time in Kyrgyzstan, I've watched several videos of you, and all are shot perfectly. I think it's important to bear in mind that Kgz out its over 2000 years of history only 70 years has been under Soviet occupation, which has shifted a lot to good and bad sites the local environment, people, culture, language, partly we're glad, partly we're sad of losing ethnicity. Have fun on further trips. looking forward of new videos in the post-covid times :))
I was last week there too!! Amazing place, really nice weather and water !! Maybe one of my favourite lakes in the world:) you were there some weeks ago right?
Beautiful country! I really appreciate people who go out of their way to help raise awareness of these countries and people. I grew up in Utah, and a some of the scenery really reminded me of Utah. I definitely want to visit this country someday.
