Would love to see you brew up a soultrader/gravecrawler combo deck. I feel like all the sac synergies are up your alley and I’d love to see what you come up with.
Ran out deck after decktest with this list. It happened once, but with a few birthing rituals in play, I went from losing to -Oh, the goat got me a wolf -Oh, the strider got me yawg -Oh, I win the game Insanely useful.
Currently, I like this list more. I don't think it makes sense to cut a Ritual as its the main engine of this build of the deck. What other silver bullets do you want mb?
@@meatmtg the first one that came to mind is renegade rallier lol. jokes aside, I understand that with ritual you want to dig as much as possible to end the game but between them, chtonian and chord you risk the "miss" like when with collected company you didn't play too many creatures in the shell

Great run ! Any aspiring yawg player such a myself I am sure feels so lucky to have your vids as resources. Why the "woe bro" instead of second Gangsta Messenjah ? Messenjah deals dmg upon etb, works better with ritual. The two bodies produced by woe bro are that important ?
I know Woe Bro looks a bit strange, but the card has been surprisingly impressive. Making 2 bodies on ETB is excellent, it helps you dig out of dead draws, and the escape has won me a few games. Biggie G Messenger is goated, but the triple black can be kinda awkward sometimes when its stuck in your hand.
@@meatmtg Ah yes the manabase doesn't accomodate well for Biggie G, so one is good (fetch it), 2 is too many. I think i'd go an endurance then, i really don't like woe bro, even though i'm sure he works for u
@@addkite Well, the thing with grist is that she's not the best in Ritual shells because if you grab her with ritual, you're letting your OP get a whack at her 1st before you can activate her 🤔

I’m a new to modern player, I have a lot of experience with mtg and have watched a fair share of modern, would this deck be a good starting point into the modern format?
@@rolioli9887 welcome! If you like the deck and it looks interesting/fun to you, go for it! It does take some time to learn and can be a bit challenging, but it's super fun imo. 🕺
its the same list that won on our asia modern showdown. Old list is no longer viable on today's meta. Hi meat please update our sb options due to Nadu's dominance and current meta. thank you

No longer viable is a crazyyyyyy take. Plus I’d rather see a SB not optimized towards a Nadu meta given the likelihood of an incoming ban. Great content 🥩

Is this list or the one with cauldron more solid? Does it make sense to cut a ritual to put another silver bullet for chord?
