    So if you had the opportunity to buy a 2020 S1000RR M, would you sell the 1299 Panigale to "upgrade'? Let me hear your thoughts below!

    I'd say the new BMW gives you more as an overall package. It's clearly an improved street bike with lots of new additions including cruise control, heated grips and the ability to change maps on the fly. I have just sold my 2015 R1M and collecting my new MSPORT BMW later this week. I guess I will find out for sure soon!

    I personally think you should pass on the new S1000RR and get yourself a V4 Speciale. The Speciale is a collectors item and it's the "new and improved" version of your current Panigale. I don't think you'll be disappointed one bit!

    Its an amazing bike that's for sure. Got to spend a day with it when BMW Motorrad came into Tampa and brought all their 2020 goodies for everyone to try. I'm gonna at least give the R1 and S1000RR-R a chance before picking up my next bike. But the BMW is amazing; gonna be hard to beat for me.

    Just turned 6,000 miles on the SP2, I haven’t had 1 single issue with the bike. How many recalls did the Ducati V-4 have ? 5-6, now V-4 R has a clutch recall. For me when iam doing high speeds its nice to have a Honda between your legs. The SP2 is flashed with a full Titanium Akro shorty GP exhaust, the sounds above 120mph are intoxicating!! Why i will never own an electric bike

    • @TheDucatiPilot

    Yes, I bought the 2020 it’s amazing. After u buy one u will never want another bike. I have a lot of carbon fiber bits on the way now. It’s a great bike for the street and or Track. Note I don’t own a car so this baby is my Daily. So I say if u want one buy it. That low spot is there but after u get it flashed that goes away. It is more comfortable than the Ducati. Watch motonosity he has one also.

    Wait for the new fireblade SP. That way your channel name would make sense. I’m not a Ducati fan so letting it go wouldn’t be a problem for me. The BMW is nice but needs some polishing. The Aprilia factory 1100 sound puts that Ducati to shame and is a better bike out of the box. All of them too much for Florida as there a few roads for them but you should buy what you want.

    • @TheDucatiPilot
      @TheDucatiPilot  4 года назад +2

      I used to own a Fireblade (hence the name). That was a great bike. I do wish Florida had more twisties. Believe it or not, central Florida has some windy roads, but it's a good hour ride away...plus it's hot! Thanks for the comment!

    The 2020 bmw m s1000rr is amazing. I own one. Have put 3k on it in under 3 months. Have flogged it thoroughly and ride it almost daily. I’m not sure what others are telling you but they must not ride the same machine. BMW did the same as you expect (and most know) put great engineers onto a project and put out great work. It has quirks but even that bogus “flat spot” isn’t a downside and can be overcome without flashing the ECU. It’s all about how you ride and shift, the crying over it on RUclips by these geeks including 650ib is way overstated. Take their bull worth’s grain of salt. It’s a great bike bro. I won’t be flashing mine and will probably keep it stock. In my humble opinion we have way too many flimsy “experts” with no professional or engineering background who have way too much to say about the tech side of a bike they could never design even a valve for. Ride it and see bruh. It’s a monster. Signed 25 years of riding experience.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the S1K, put I had to pull the trigger on one of my dream bikes. Thanks again for your insightful comment and ride safe my friend!

      One of my good friends is I feel injection engineer and I took a few classes back in the day and definitely had my projects over the years. I know my stoichiometry, timing, injector pulse width inside and out. The aftermarket tuners are not as smart and do not have access to the R&D data at the original engineers' completed. Though the original engineers which date their hands are tied by EPA and cafe demands. If their hands were tied I'm not so sure they would be completely different from a quality aftermarket tuner. To me this information should obvious to a drunk hobo hanging out in the back of Circle K... but then again not everyone is gifted w/ the intelligence of a drunk hobo.
