Probably one of the most shocking news ever in the theme park industry, PiplupJames gives out his opinion on the potential merger of Six Flags & Cedar Fair.
Will the merger become official? Will parks get sold? Who knows.

I think this was a great move for both companies. We've seen similar success in 2017 when Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabela's, and I think Six Flags can learn a lot from Cedar Fair, such as better operations, improvements in cleanliness and atmosphere, and less ride closures.

I forgot Bass Pro did buy Cabela’s. But I’ve mentioned Simon & General Growth because GGP was out of bankruptcy but barely gained any ground but I’m glad that Simon wasn’t able to acquire them. This is a different beast with the theme parks so we would have to see. I thank you for watching 🐧
