    If that's orig fridge, its a 3-way. Runs most efficient on propane setting

    You will not replace that hatch because they dont make it anymore so check before you rip it out. Also depending on what you intend to put down for floor, the old was glued to withstand the ages. If its well stuck, consider cleaning it and going right over it with new. Plus it adds insulation.

      Good advice! I ended up replacing both the floor an hatch and those videos will be coming soon!

    I have a 2002 13’ Scamp too! First thing I did was change the seat covers too. The a/c is likely not from the factory. I got rid of the water storage and use it for storage.

      Nice! Yeah, I considered changing up my water system too. Do you currently have a water setup?

      There’s a lot of scamp scams out there right now listing them for around $1k. Just be careful when contacting one of those listings.

    What an incredible find! I would never believe that a 6’3” and a 5’9” person could find in a drop down table bed. I love everything about it! Do you have no plans to be anywhere near the desert when it’s going to be hot? I would have a small generator and a soft start capacitor installed for easy starts. But that’s just me, I hate being hot.

    • @shaunwilkens
      @shaunwilkens  2 года назад +1

      It really was a great find! We will mostly be using it in the Pacific Northwest so hot temps shouldn't be a huge issue. On my next van build, I may be going the AC route. Will have to look into the generator option as well. Thanks!

      I looked for a few years on Craigslist and would get alerts every time one came up in my area. Most of them were gone before I could reach out to the owners. Got super lucky on this one.
