One day in 2003, in the lead up to the Iraq War, Gun receives a memo from the NSA with a shocking directive: the United States is enlisting Britain’s help in collecting compromising information on United Nations Security Council members in order to blackmail them into voting in favor of an invasion of Iraq. Unable to stand by and watch the world be rushed into an illegal war, Gun makes the gut-wrenching decision to defy her government and leak the memo to the press. So begins an explosive chain of events that will ignite an international firestorm, expose a vast political conspiracy, and put Gun and her family directly in harm’s way.

i know right? my friends and i have discussed the philosophical complexity and subversive themes of disney's pirates of the caribbean for years.
Me too! She’s a great role model. As for Pirates, she was a teenager when she got that role & was smart to use the leverage it gave her to pick more interesting roles afterwards. She’s turned down being in the recent Pirates sequels despite the enormous amounts of money it would bring her.
Absolutely great performance worthy of an Oscar and a great film on par with all the president’s men. Too bad this urgent film got lost in the Covid crisis

I live in Middle East what you hear fake news from your media I lost half of my family only because we born Kurdish, Sadam he was dictator don’t defend him
Hundreds of thousands of innocent people lost their lives in that war.Sadam was a dictator who committed crimes against the Kurds and his own people, but the horrible consequences of that war is still causing major problems in the Middle East. They could have got Sadam without murdering a million Iraqis. People responsible should have been prosecuted for war crimes
