Gang-gang Cockatoo behaviour: Male fully erects his crest, territorial breeding display to female.

In this brief video we see the male Gang-gang erecting his crest and engaging in a territorial breeding display to his female partner (who is just out of shot to the left of screen, not seen in this video).
Even though it is June and 5-6 months before the Gang-gang breeding season truly begins, this eager male does not miss a mid-Winter opportunity to show off and promote a prospective nesting hollow to his breeding partner.

I wonder how these are as pets. They’re beautiful but very loud which is typical of cockatoos.
