I thought it was a perfect thriller until I read your comment 😂 Unfortunately, many true crime stories start with young women getting into a car with a stranger at night.
@@sparklemotion8377 No stranger here. In this TV thriller the young student knew the driver, her married lover. What was also baffling is I know of no quarries in London, The nearest is Bluewater in Kent or Lakeside in Essex. Rather a long drive from London to meet somebody.
@@johnsmith-ht3sy I don't think this was meant to be in London. The victim had been seen in London, but to my mind this was elsewhere. Could be wrong, may have missed it, but that was my impression. There may have been more quarries around nearly 60 years ago, though?
This was made 57 years ago, attitudes were very different. We cannot view these shows with our 2024 eyes and criticise the things we disagree with now. Just enjoy it as a piece of entertainment, and forget the judgements.
@@johnh8733 May I suggest you never experienced this kind of revolting treatment? Normally, the ones who say 'don't worry about it' have only been at the end where they definitely wouldn't suffer it!
@@johnh8733Actually, things haven't changed all that much. Keep up with the news, and learn about the unwanted attentions young women and even underage girls are getting right now. Perhaps you are the sort of man whose parents brought up their sons to act respectfully around women. But there are rather too many men who don't care how they behave.
@@Debbie-henri Yes, I was brought up to respect all other people, regardless of sex, colour religious beliefs, etc. I understand perfectly what is going on in the world, and I have always advocated for women to be treated equally in every respect and not to be demeaned. Hence the fact that I cannot understand why the women of America decried the actions of people like Harvey Weinstien, and then voted for a man whose disgusting treatment of women, both in word and deed, is so well known and should be in jail with Weinstein.
Another excellent little drama - thanks!
Another wonderful and enjoyable series . Thank you 👏🥂
Great twists! Thanks for sharing this very good drama series.
Thank you. Very enjoyable
great who done it mini series
a classic thriller from start to finish
no modern tv thriller can match this
they dont make thrillers like this no more
Thanks CBT,
Very interesting! Thanks for posting.
And surprisingly still available to perform as a stage play.
The music is suitably stealthy.
Very good!
Damn I thought it would be a longer series than this
Yes I was surprised it was wrapped up so soon.
Rather incongruous that late at night you would meet somebody at a quarry.

Excellent twist 😮
Brilliant thank you
thankyou
Very good.
wunderbar
A good twist in this drama. The misogyny, and observing men 'leering' at women half their age was uncomfortable viewing though.

Ha, I was right! It was touch and go, though.
Well, I was wrong. Quite glad I was, mind. Very good ending.
I knew it was Joe when he said his wife was away. His pencil chewing was another give away. A great bit of evidence.
