*Re: Channels:* The channels that got taken down were those that reacted to live content from Mnet (countdown, comeback stages, MAMA awards) and anything that showed content from CJ E&M Entertainment. Now there's three things to note: - Live stage content is always risky, because those videos are owned by the tv networks/stations that aired them, and NOT by the artists' companies themselves. - Japanese content is always risky, and performances that took place in Japan. - Big Hit (BTS's Company) never strikes because they appreciate the promo, so you can do all the BTS you want lmao *but again,* anything BTS might do live on stage is owned by TV networks NOT Big Hit so those are risky. *Here's the really messed-up thing though* - Whoever's been striking all these channels lately MIGHT have been a fake account, not CJ E&M. They claim copyrights, meaning they get money from the video, not a RUclipsr. They do not strike tho. However, I'm not so sure about their DVD content. From what I've seen CJ E&M are the ones handing out the copyright strikes, Mnet is owned by them so if you ever plan on reacting to live performances then be careful. A lot of the live videos that are getting strikes are because of media companies (like CJ E&M) that also have rights to the recordings. You guys should check out RM’s collab with Fall Out Boy too! BTS is so versatile it’s craaaazy. Also they did a remake of J. Cole’s song, it’s called Born Singer, & it has really deep lyrics that talk about the struggles they went through & some nice vocals from the vocal line.
(Maybe check out the lyric video for Born Singer since a lot of live performances are getting kpop reactors strikes. It’s still a good listen even with just lyrics 👍🏽)
Kamma282 yeah I think it should be fine but it just depends on if BigHit has full rights to that recording. A lot of the live videos that are getting strikes are because of media companies (like CJ E&M) that also have rights to the recordings. But as you said it was a concert so it’s likely it doesn’t violate anything since BigHit is a lot less strict with people reacting to their content

Namjoon and Yoongi (Suga) were underground rappers, they have immense respect for Hip Hop culture. BTS did a boot camp in LA to learn more about Hip Hop culture. And Yes, RM was the first to launch their Mixtape in 2015, in 2016 it was Agust D and in 2018 (finally) J-hope. RM said he is currently working on his second Mixtape (we will all die).

Yes, RM/Namjoon was first. Then Suga/AGUST D/Yoongi, and now JHope/Hoseok. RM has a near-genius IQ of 148 and tested in the top 1% in Korea at the time. He always does lots of deep, intricate things with his lyrics so there is a lot of gold to mine there.
I strongly suggest you watch the “An Introduction To BTS” series by Squishy Min Yoongi. She goes through all the members from youngest to oldest. It’s a great opportunity to become really familiar with their faces as well as various characteristics...and it’s FUNNY.
