    Mescaline stands alone in its own class. Gentle, powerful, transformative, non violent. Like a warm hug in a dark unfamiliar room. Slow ramp up with an extended dwell time. When you need a break it offers you reprieve to take back your mind so to speak....and then when the break ends it gently steers you back to where it wants to take you.

      @@haraldhimmel5687 It's not uncommon for an ayahuasca vine decoction to be drunk alongside San Pedro. I wouldn't condone this with other phenethylamines but I've experienced this numerous times years ago and never had an issue. It worked well in that it cut down on the amount of cactus one needed to ingest to get to a certain level without imparting too much influence of its own on the experience. Definitely a plant combo one could deep on - purging to be expected but no biggie. Mescaline and 4-AcO-DMT...that was a terrifying combo though, and made me swear off mixing mescaline with other things. Thanks for the thought.

I saw more beauty in and life in the trail that I was walking and the only time I’ve ran into a fake coral/ring snake. The non venomous one and just idk words can’t explain it’s like the substance had soul. Natural. And I’ve had 3 concussions and my memory really suffered a lot of loss but that one particular day is as vivid as a home video and I felt the creator and divine intervention in everything. The wind, leaves, it was a truly profound and awakening experience. I could spend forever in that moment. It opened the pineal gland.

      Killing the ego is a hard task indeed but it can pay off ^.^ ego is the sense of "I", I am , I have, I do , I feel , I like , I hate, and etc. That sense that think it is separate from others, a "fight or fly" mechanism of the brain , making us able to survive this physical world for thousands of years. Nowadays, humans do not need ego very much anymore for further evolution, maybe in some exceptions. Its been useful to survive in the past hard times. Ego is always looking to put the blame on someone else. Without ego, we are free from all this fake game going on in our minds, we are directly connected to the truth, the source of life. which is only love & light, one infinite creator experiencing itself through everything. Killing our ego can also be translated to "enlightenment". which is the end goal of millions of people that are into meditation or spirituality. I also heard "enlightenment" often happens at the moment of physical death, even for everyday normal people that are not interested in the subject. (Excuse my bad English and have a fantastic day everyone, sharing the love is the best we can do.

      I hate complete ego death because it's pointless. Partial is fine, with mild to moderate ego dissolution, but actually experiencing death is just pointless. And no, I refuse to be fooled by the awesome magic of "the beyond", that doesn't make death okay. Dying sucks. BUT!!! But! What people call ego death isn't actually ego death, the sensation of a metacognitive shift is powerful and overwhelming yes, everything being inversed and turned upside down is jarring, of course, but it's not ego death. It's merely a shift from one state of consciousness to another, a metacognitive shift. I'm all for that, but ego death/complete ego dissolution is extremely traumatic; you do not want to experience the meaning of eternal oblivion.

    HI! I want to share my experience with mescaline with however is interested in it.
    I'm from Chile, so we have a large amount of San Pedro everywhere (mostly in the north tbh)
    I got a 2.5m (8'2") San Pedro and cook it for around 6 hours (skin only), then let it rest for a day, and discarded the residue that was at the bottom
    I didn't have had an interest in psychedelics up until that point, but I've tried many other types of drugs.
    On the day of consumption at 8:30 am without breakfast, I drank around 1.5L (50.7 oz), and to say it was a struggle is an understatement, it was absolutely disgusting.
    After 1 hour I started to feel the effects, nothing overwhelming, just some visuals and bigger pupils.
    Then I felt so much energy that I didn't know what to do with it, so I started to clean up my entire house lmao I was sweating but felt great and once I was finish cleaning I took a shower, the moment I opened the water I think is when it got more intense, I was feeling every drop of water hitting my body and when I got out I forgot that towels existed, so I just put on some clean clothes and went about my day.
    Then I went to my brother's room and we talked for a while, at this point it was super intense, my brother's face was nothing but mandala patterns all over and his voice was either very high or very low, then I opened RUclips and started to watch my favorite music videos, it felt like I was there and all the emotions that they wanted to communicate where so strong that I felt them on my chest.
    Then I went to my backyard and played with my cats for around 4 hours straight, one of them was sick at the time and smelled like depression (she's ok now and very happy) their fur was like a field full of wheat being moved by the gentlest of breezes.
    Then around 8:00 pm I went to my room and laid down in my bed, closed my eyes and I was instantly transported under the sea with whales all around me singing their songs.
    When it was dark I went to my backyard again and looked at the stars, they were dancing and moving around so fast, the moon was so bright and everything was perfect.
    Around 1:00 am the effects were coming down and started to feel a little bit hungry (haven't eaten anything at this point) but eating wasn't enjoyable, it was more like something that I had to do.
    I would have loved to go out and experience this but it happened when covid was already a thing and we had a lockdown so I couldn't go out and see all the beauties that nature had to offer, it was a great experience (except for the taste ugh)

    • @bytefu
      @bytefu 4 года назад +5

      Actually, you are never able to experience reality "as it is", whatever that means, even under influence of drugs. Even the most precise instrument in the world has various measurement tolerances, that limit the amount of information you can get from a system. At macroscopic level, you never have the full information, it is practically impossible. Besides that, our brains more like hallucinate reality based on inputs, rather than just process them. Any healthy brain would hallucinate in absence of visual stimuli, given enough time, e.g. in a sensory deprivation tank. The brain is constantly synchronizing input signals, that all arrive at different times, and is trying to predict what would happen. There is always a lag due to relatively slow propagation of nerve signals, so there is no way around it. Otherwise your life would be much more difficult.

Makes my heart cry, but nature will hopefully bring it back with the help of people like me that would start them and plant them outdoors. They take years to grow big, peyote that is, where San Pedro and Torch grows much faster...different alkaloids make up a unique experience depending on the cactus, how it was grown, and how prepared, as well as set and setting. Then I got to talk to the characters the most meaningful where joy ( small pink fairy) and light ( multi demential spear of light). I touched the light and it surrounded me and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced. • @madmod
      @madmod 3 года назад

      @Condoriano Bils It started by seeing the negativity of myself. You see your own flaws. You become hyper sensitive to every detail. Luckily it didnt take long for me to regain my sense of self confidence, and after that came enlightenment. I have what i can only describe as a one soul, or shared soul feeling and this is coming from someone very skeptical of religion and my experience was not a religious event but felt very spiritual. For what its worth, the following day felt horribly dark and hard to concentrate. Like half way waking up from a dream i couldnt remember anything from. The day following that, i began recalling some crazy sights, feelings, and interactions with things i cant even begin to put into words. I saw life through other peoples eyes and it made me a better, or at least more understanding person. There were times my consciousness tried to take back over and tell me i was in control of the situation but i had to just let go and go along for the ride. Its both exhilarating and frightening but oh so worth it.

    Natural mescaline is the best out of all psychs for me. Obviously every psych is different and good for other things. But what I like about mesc is that no matter how hard I tripped, my mind always remained sober and in fact more sober than usual sober. Also I feel like it added some permanent complexity to my thought patterns. I feel more intelligent, especially after one specific trip.

    I think the major problem with mescaline is that people try to speed up the growth of their cacti with grafting too much. When the cacti grows fast as a graft, it doesn’t build up the same levels of alkaloids in its tissues. You want to plant them in some really well prepared, mineral rich potting mix. Giving them a substrate packed with a broad spectrum of micronutrients and that will allow them to produce more alkaloids

    Excellent description. I've felt these similar effects with mescaline and various cacti including peyote. I would say that I do disagree that a raw cacti experience is only mild especially with peyote or peruvian torch. I will agree that san pedro is pretty mild and more of a trance or dream like internal trip. I find each cacti has their own unique alkaloid profile and produce similar but different effects. Overall though I say this a great description of an ancient and rare substance.
    I imagine with states legalizing psychedelic plants like mushrooms, ayahuasca, and peyote we will see more cultivators and a rise in peyotism again.

Just be careful tho the government is going to do alot of wacky shit soon stay safe friend. I remember my first DMT experience. You talked about forgetting who and what you are, I forgot there was ever a world, that I had ever been human. In fact, corporeal existence was such an alien concept, I don't believe I would've been able to imagine it in that place. Going in to the DMT realm was like waking from a dream, my whole life was instantly forgotten and the place I went felt like I had gone home, being more vivid and real than anything in this world. I remember coming back, laying on my bedroom floor, but not knowing what anything was for several moments and then remembering I was human and recalling this life, which seemed so abstract given my in and out state of mind. I felt no fear until that moment, because I had no time, I was ripped away so quickly, I literally had no time to be scared. There is no time in DMT land. But coming back, experiencing time and remembering myself, then instantly being ripped away again, not knowing if I would return. I remembered my self in DMT land at this point. That aspect was terrifying. Like I said, there is no time, I did not experience the passage of time, I just was. I experienced eternity in a moment. You know how profound your experience was when upon returning you have visuals of cartoon characters walking across your room, and they seem mundane and pedestrian.
