I've had the thing explode and send shrapnel twice already. All the money they made selling us defective replacements for the last three years should more than cover their recall expenses. Thanks for the heads up.

It’s broke on me twice now. The first time we glued it back together and put it back to work. The second it wasn’t repairable and we ordered parts and replaced it. I wonder what there solution is. I’ll be checking into this. Thanks!
Ugh. That sucks! There’s a video on the DeWalt website about how to remove the old guard and install the new. The new part looks sturdier than the old one.
When I bought the saw I could tell that guard wasn’t made strong enough
At least they’re fixing the problem. Hopefully it will stop future models from having similar problems.
