- Cledir Barros, the father of an 8-year-old girl who was allegedly beaten to death with a rolling pin by her stepmother, has taken the stand again. Detective Angela Carter who responded to the scene said Barros was more concerned with seeing his wife than the fact that his child was dead.

When I was a kid my step mother used to do very cruel things to me but she didn't hit me like put pepper in my bath water, lock me out on really cold days, refused to buy me a coat even though we lived in the north like torture stuff- suffering- he didn't know until I told him and he didn't believe because of the person she portrayed to be- and I was a troubled child I went through a lot of abuse ❤

My mother in law was left a widow when my husband was a year old. Never dated until he was out on his own. Her own father ran away from home at 12 because of an abusive step parent. He had always warned her about step parents.
Many are wonderful people and step parents. I know people who think their step parents are the greatest.But the risk is higher with a step parent.
Never force your child from another woman on your wife. Nobody likes to be put in a Cinderella position. Child has a mother, and you perform your fatherly duties when you get home. Leave your new wife out of it or she'll feel used and bitter.

What are you on about? Detectives give their opinions all the time while they are on the stand. It gives the jury a chance to follow their methods, observations, and reasoning. They may indicate how they viewed a suspect’s behavior while questioning or investigating. Their instincts is what propels their investigations.
