Furys act is a show. Outside of that he's a class act, nice person. He likes to put on a mean show for boxing, but its all respect once its over. Im surprised you don't know this, unless youre new to boxing.

Ironically, Usyk represents an almost traditional British character of a calm, reserved, faithful, and disciplined approach. I hope he does well and shall be rooting for both fighters. Tyson could learn a lot from his character. I still think Tyson has the advantage, but Usyk is a breath of fresh air in this world of nonsense.

So while Ukrainian and Russian are distinct linguistically, there is an important asymmetry to be aware of: even though most Russians don't know or understand Ukrainian because it's a different language, most Ukrainians know and understand Russian. Ukrainian and Russian are both Slavic languages. Still, they are quite different.

Oleksandr usyk is a genuine nice man and great boxer , the best in his sport. I never saw him win being a slugger. He boxed, Ali is his favorite boxer , that speaks volumes. Wilder slugged, has a knock out punch, horrible boxer though as far as being skilled and Tyson exposed that 3 times and out smarted him 3 times. Usyk is a smart boxer with skills. Tyson is smart too with enough skills and lanky arms and some great speed for that big of a man to make a fight difficult. I believe the agility of Usyk and popping power will make Tyson respect him. My pick Usyk by decision. Not seeing either one getting knocked out.

I don't know, Tom. Usyk surely hurt AJ for 24 rounds. He also KO'd DuBois with a crushing right hand. I think he has skilled power not innante power. His boxing skills and accuracy allow him to get those shots to where they do the most damage. I would not be surprised if Fury got knocked down hard and quit on his stool.

It's only my opinion but I believe Tyson knows and having also watched AJ fights he can't jab and outbox usyk. I think his strategy will be bringing a dog fight, leanng on him, hard shots like with Deontay.
However I also think Usyk will expect this and also be prepared for distance that makes him more dangerous than many will think.
If usyk can get in and out body shots, avoid a brawl and being worn out by tysons weight then subject to fair judges he should win it!!
This interview is already a legend from the one of the best boxers of all time and will be cited for ages.

Met him when i covered his fight against Witherspoon. He is so nice in person, yet ferocious and skilled in the ring. Always fighting in enemy territory, never has a homefield advantage. Luckily for him, Ukranians live all over the world and they show up to see their champion! He is like a Heavyweight Ukranian Manny Pacquiao.

fury not as technical as he thinks he is, usyk will outbox him. once usyk sees through fury's feints, it will be hard for fury to get anything going and that is where usyk will get the upperhand

For those that think Usyk is only a boxer and not a puncher, and can only hit hard with the left hand, let them watch the Dubois fight. KO'd Dubois with a devastating right hand punch. Dubois didn't know what hit him. And, stop and think that Dubois approaches the size of Fury and punches much harder. Usyk also tagged AJ numerous times with a right hook. So, he's got power in both hands. I think that Fury already knows this and it bothers him greatly.
What a legend, and an inspiration. I just wish I could understand him in his own language where his philosophy would be expounded more fluidly and in greater detail. There is much more to be learned here.
