If I could afford it I'd make into a full size home flight simulator. Unfortunately I don't think it'll ever take to the skies again.
$400 per hr for a pilot is crazy high. Now if it were split in two for both pilots it would be more reasonable especially for a privately hired pilot
Thanks for that video, any idea how old the 737-200 was?
the last 737-200 was built in 1988, so more than likely it's pushing 35-40+ years old.
That aircraft is absolutely not air worthy and would take months to years for a return to that status. Whoever buys it will have to truck it out of the country, onto a container ship (varying where the new owner lives) and then have land to store it on for whatever reason it's used for. Honestly scrap and resale value on this plane is greater than the 2700 pounds. After shipping its no longer worth that scrap or resale value - if thats what the aircraft is being bought for.
Ay nevermind that.
Hi Thompson, I would like to use some parts of your video. Is it ok if I put your name for the source and I can put it in my Videos?
Yeah sure thing! ☺️
@@xthompsongunx Thanks, appreciate it.
Very interesting video
As an Aircraft Engineer and an Aircraft Technician, if you are willing to invest MILLIONS on it, don't! Is cheaper to get a used one and you can use it right o' way...
