Welcome to Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a small landlocked country in Western Europe bordering Belgium, Germany, and France. Luxembourgish is the only national language of the Luxembourgish people, but German and French are used in various capacities too. Luxembourg is a developed country and has one of the world's highest GDP per capita. Luxembourg is a founding member of the European Union.
Build on Roman ruins of 275AD, Vianden castle was first built in around 1000 AD which contained a watch tower and an oval wall of defence. It is said to be one of the most beautiful castles in the world.
The castle is open to visitors throughout the year. It takes about 2 to 2.5 hrs to see the castle. There's a cafeteria and a gift shop in the castle. You can also rent the castle for various events. You can learn more about the castle in the link provided in the description below.
The city of Luxembourg was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. And in 2020 Luxembourg became the first country to introduce no-charge public transportation, which will be almost completely funded by public expenditure.
This is the Chemin de la Corniche known as the most beautiful balcony in Europe. It was built by the Spaniards and the French in the 17th century.
The old town is really a beautiful place to walk. It has lots of shopping options for everyone. This is the antique market, selling curios collector's items and other treasures, at the middle of the old town at Place d’Armes. Around this place there are lots of restaurants to fulfill your gastronomic desires.
We are the Jajabars. Jajabar in Bengali means a nomad or a vagabond. We plug ourselves in Edmonton, Canada and once the batteries are recharged, we start again.
