video summary: remove seed from fruit, remove mucilage (annoying transparent layer surrounding seed that needs to be removed before roasting) from seed, dry seeds, bag seeds to be sent for roasting.
There’s one more step before roasting, which is to remove the husk from the seed. The husk is a beige colour - the seed prior to roasting with the husk removed is a grey/green colour
it's idiot work really, not rocket science. you aren't missing much. it's labor intensive for removing mucilage layer of seed and drying. iq of 75 enough to do this work. anyone with 100 or greater IQ would commit suicide condemned to this life.

Great video! I'm glad that you credited your cast at the end, but I would have loved it if you included their names in the script itself! Then you could use fewer passive verb constructions, and name the producers instead of using the generic "producer." I know that this video is meant as a general overview of the washed process, not necessarily an investigation of how this specific farm processes its coffee, but I think that could still be communicated clearly while giving more credit to your stars from Finca Ecológica. :)
This is great feedback, thank you: We were trying to make it clear that this is just one example, but you make an excellent point! Thank you for watching and responding.

Nicely done! Videos like these are so needed so thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for this video! I have read about the process but it really helps my understanding to see it go through the process in a video
I would like to visit these farms and see the process in person one day!
You can visit hacienda Quimiapan in Mexico and learn the process first hand. They have a hacienda you can stay in. Very interesting process

What is wrong with putting water from washed coffee back into the ground untreated if no chemicals are added during fermentation or washing?
In Honduras the campesinos regularly dry their coffee on the bitumen roads 😂

It uses so much water
Me personaly,, more like medium wash than the full wash processing. Just saying though 🙂

That's a stick, honey. Just a plain old stick.
Looks unsanitary as fuck! Better roast it twice
