$7 ain’t bad at all you had air conditioning, professional staff, they even had uniforms. $1 would have been impossible. Maybe a street haircut with a fan outside. And even still 10 years ago it’s was around $1 when I lived there. Glad you’re enjoying Cambodia! I miss it lots. Loving the south east Asia series
I am Cambodian and l know it is not a one dollar haircut. Minimum is five dollars so seven dollars for that nice haircut is good. He didn’t ripped you off … just to clarify.

Haircuts are usually more expensive in the cities anywhere you go. Its a great haircut. Totally worth $7 in my opinion.

My last haircut for 1$ charge in cambodia was 2003 with no air-conditioning. I can't find this price no more theseday but it could be the reason why they set up one seat out side just to get you in......!!!

From reading the comments before I watched the video, I thought you must have said something or complained, but damn people are salty on RUclips. You barely even mentioned the miscommunication. Anyways I'm Cambodian and I've been ripped off before, bait and switch pricing is pretty common, sometimes you have to make a scene to address the matter but usually it's not worth the time.

nah this kid ripped you off for sure. As Cambodian, average haircut is 2.5$ in almost every indoor barbershop. 3$ the highest haircut price I've known. 7$ is way to expensive. Even though, we've seen some AC and uniforms, it doesn't charge a men haircut for 7$ -_- you could have breakfast (Cambodian Pork Rice and Kuy Teav) for 4 - 7 days with these money
