This performance and choreography is better than any other Broadway Shug Avery I've seen except the original. I saw Elisabeth Withers on Broadway and her embodiment of Shug Avery is forever unmatched.

I compared the two performances between Heather and Hudson... Hudson has less dance sequences while Headley does the WORK... did they completely change the choreo after Hudson left?

I love this musical and love the actors that starred in it, but absolutely hated the revival with how the only thing they had for sets and props was chairs. I mean am I wrong for that?
Jennifer can’t act. Heather is a consummate PRO. Broadway lost an incredible leading lady when she stepped away. I hope she comes back in an original SOON!
