Page Tabs For Journals | Step by Step | Super Easy | Collage and Stamping

- Today I am making some page tabs for my journal. I make a template and use up pieces of scrap paper. I have collaged with small bits of ephemera, stamping and buttons. They are a fun addition to any page in your journal.
Love these Liz! Why have I never thought to do that with two pieces of scrap card? Well I put it to the test, made mine. Made a video! Thanks for the inspiration! ❤

They definitely use up scraps, but my scrap box seems never ending! It’s like a Mary Poppins bag 😆🥰

I love these tabs. They can be any color, design, and fit anywhere. I also love that giraffe. Did you draw him? Thanks for this grand idea.

These are so cute. I do have a tab cutter I'm not sure the bottom allows enough space to decorate, but if not I will just add another little strip to the bottom go for it. I love those tiny little feathers. So sweet. I'm going to decorate some so they can go sideways on the page. But I'll also make some that can go on the top of a page or the top of the pocket for a Journal card. As you can see I'm finding lots of uses for these little things
Good idea adding a little bit to the bottom. I have a die but it’s really small, not made for decorating at all 🙄😆 The feathers are new, got a bag of them in a new shop in Glasgow 😊 Enjoy making your tabs 🥰

Very timely! I'm late at getting started on my Scotland travel journal, but did some tabs earlier today! Haven't stuck 'em down yet, so I can use some of your ideas for the back of the tabs! I don't need the same word on each side and a decoration will be pretty! 12 days and counting!

Use a chalk pencil for dark backgrounds. Used in marking quilt designs or in sewing. No eraser marks.

That is soooo much glue. How do you keep things from warping?
Hi Joyce, I’m not aware of using too much glue, as a thrifty Scot it would go against type! I don’t seem to have a problem with warping 😊 Thanks so much for watching 😊
