My son, Bill, goes to gorgeous, tiny, little special needs school for gorgeous special children. Bill and his friends there all need just a little more care, attention, love and guidance to help them access friendships and education. Bill has autism (and a variety of other issues such as Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD, Dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay and Klinefelters Syndrom) and most of his school mates have similar challenges as well as Dyslexia across the board. Bill's school is woefully underfunded for a variety of reasons that would take pages of text to explain. The teachers aren't well paid yet they are constantly buying supplies the children need that most pupils don't require; such as pen grips and fiddle toys to aid concentration etc...I have been fundraising for a few years now and with your help have managed to help subsidise school trips, buy sensory room equipment, Occupational Therapy equipment, outdoor tables and chairs, a trampoline... We have a lot to pay for soon as we really need a reliable minibus but additional to that the school is trying to move premises and is taking on 20 extra pupils. This is all amazing news but means the pressure is on financially. All this fundraising helps a phenomenal school that has given so many children a future they would not have been able to access. Thank you so much for any kind of support you give us.

Hi Gayna ; I started to tear-up a little it was just so loving how she had just taken to you and your family and how her and Margo get along so well with each other it is like they are or were two old friends and they just found each other again. It is just so beautiful to see how she loved by you and your family as well too. "Happy Birthday Bunny" may you have many more happy days ahead of you.
Well you made me laugh and you made me cry all in your forty-one minutes. Asleep on my bed is my Boxer ... the same dog I had as a child, and I’m your mum’s age. He is a steady companion, loving and loyal. They all have their ‘issues’, just like us. But the heart of a good dog that loves unconditionally is a gift to his owner. The whole time you were giving Bunny’s history, I kept picturing Toby on the couch, adoring and loving Bunny ... which you seem to catch on film every so often. The truth is that every dog who finds a great home should be named “Lucky” .... and every dog owner who has opened their home to a good dog has in some way been ‘rescued’. Thanks Gayna. We love you.
You are so correct. They should be called Lucky even though we are the lucky ones. I look at our comfort living Bunny, snuggled up on cushions and wool blankets and I cannot imagine her curled up in the corner of a concrete kennel, alone for 4 months. It makes me cry. She is currently pawing at me and making herself cute because it’s breakfast time. Give your boxer a cuddle from me x

Senorita Cuckoo--- I was smiling and crying and laughing as you told the story of your dear Bunny. Thank you so much for telling us all about how she came to be in your lives. (I'm with you -- never give her up-- I will run away with you and Bunny if someone comes knocking on your door claiming that she is their dog. phooey!!!!to that hogwash.). She is your dog through and through. She was your dog even before you got her. You were her people before she came to live with your family. Hugs and gentle tail wags!

On that long list of all things Bunny, the most important thing is that you found each other. Her secrets are hers to keep and maybe one day you'll know them and maybe you won't, but she's home now, safe and sound and loved beyond measure. It's a lovely story. Maybe you should write a book... "a bunny tale", half true, half fairy tale... thank you for sharing it. Good to see you all. 💛

Bunny is an incredible family member and how lucky you all are to have her but even more how lucky she is to have such a loving family to care for her and love. Love Bunny, A big thank you for rescuing and not buying. As we can see from your beautiful vlog that rescue dogs can be amazing and loving, adjust to new surroundings and situations and fit into the right family just as much as a breeder dog. You can definitely see the Toby/Bunny connection through all your vlogs and how loved Bunny is. Thanks for sharing her story.
All but two of my many dogs and family dogs have been rescues or second hand (like Margo). I’d love to have known them when they were puppies but it is a good thing to rescue a dog.

We adopted a Romanian dog just a week before the lockdown. I saw her on Instagram and instantly fell in love. Her name is Hope and she is a very mixed breed too. At the time I was experiencing anxiety and depression so we decided to leave the name Hope with her. It was also poignant what with the world going into lockdown. Hope was a street dog. She has lots of fears and at the beginning escaped on a daily basis, but she is the most loving and characterful dog, we couldn't wish for better. We love her so much. I have been waiting to hear Bunny's story so thank you. She's a beauty and sounds as though she was meant for your family just like our little Hope 🐾 xx

Bunny is such a lovely and extremely lucky dog and you are so fortunate to have her. Not every rehomed dog fits in so well especially if there is a resident dog. It is only natural that she has memories and is fearful at times. She is so relaxed with you all. And what a little star Margo is to accept her. I would like to hear Margo's story too. I have a tiny Yorkie who sticks to me like glue.

Bunny was destined to be with you in your lovely home. I am so glad that you saw her when you did. The picture of Toby with Bunny at the end of the video shows the bond between the two of them. I have four dogs and each of them brings a different type of love into my home. They are certainly man's best friend. Thank you Cuckoo for telling us the story of Bunny.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man so enthralled by his dog like Toby is by Bunny...! It’s true love! It’s so nice that she’s great with the boys and you too, Gayna. Bunny is amazing ! , so loveable , Thank you for adoption her , there are sadly soooo many. dogs waiting with a story like Bunny waiting in horrible killing shelter 😢 I adopted my first stray dog i 2014 , she was from Bosnia , It was instantly love from first sight When i Saw her 2 years Old , all bloody with demodex on the street , from there much happened , Long story , i had this amazing special sweet Girl 4,5 years That looked like a mini Irish wolfdog , sadly had to say goodbye about a year ago 😢 And now ive adopted one more sweet Girl from bosnia , sweet like your bunny , loves all ....there is something Very special with these former streetdogs , Both mine Settled in right away , the most easy girls ❤️
I think they see their opportunity and grasp it. Street dogs realise they need to be friendly and lovable in order to survive with human help. Bunny is simply incredible.

How simply perfect that you found each other. Some dogs just can’t be off their leads. Our 13 year old Havanese was bred to find rats. To this day like Bunny, she is off like a rocket if she picks up a scent. We can shout or try to bribe with food and there is NO way she will return until she gets to the bottom of the scent. Bunny is beautiful and I so love your vlogs.

Soooo beautiful Bunny as a mad dog family you have almost made me want another dog ,after 30 odd years of always having a fur baby Mad Max our beautiful Tibetan Spaniel died after 16yrs that just broke me. We lost him when our last son moved away so we were very much empty nesters so lonely you have given me so much joy and I am thinking I may get a Margo because I do love not having dog hair everywhere. 💞💞🇦🇺
What a wonderful story. She is meant to be with you. Quite emotional watching her story as we had a lovely rescue dog who was on a waiting list with three other people before us, we put our name down anyway and a couple of weeks later were told the other potential people were unsuitable and/or changed their minds and were we still interested? Absolutely! .... he arrived, the same time as I found out I was pregnant with our daughter. Was told he wouldn’t be suitable with children... he absolutely loved her and protected her. Sadly, we lost him over the rainbow bridge in February this year. He was a jack Russell/beagle with a high prey drive too. Thank you for sharing such a lovely story, she is clearly very loved 😊

Yep, good old Winky. That lane is around the back of Penn View. I used to walk up Ireson Lane all the way to the end which turned in to the ally around the back of Penn view.
Tales from Cuckoo Land I knew that walk! You might not remember but half way up Ireson lane on the left are two large wooden gates, well that was our back entrance to a short drive and old barn which was converted to our garage! The upper story my children took over and made into a loft den! I think most of Wincanton could here their music blasting out of there 🤣🤣 I absolutely love our link to the old home town ❤️❤️

Tales from Cuckoo Land my husband and myself were born there and lived there until 1991 when a job in Gloucestershire came up! We stayed there a few years before moving to Norfolk. We then retired to the Isle of Man !

Sometimes some things are meant to be and Bunny is one of them, my German Shepherd Suki Su I bought her for £50 sight unseen at 12 weeks old to rescue her from a lady who had the parents and was living in terrible conditions and had been told to get rid of the puppies because of the noise and smell or lose her home, it was love and bonding in one look, unfortunately she passed August last year due to a stroke at the age of 12 yrs.
Sometimes we think we are rescuing the dog,but in reality the dog ends up rescuing us.

Hi dear friend Bunny Bunny
Hope to your creator the Lord that when you receive this letter you are in good condition and as beautiful as your moms garden of flowers.
Let me introduce myself,my name is Lua Adriana i am a Dachshund i am 7 years old and you must know i am a small dog with a long body ,long ears ,very short legs and i have copper colored hair,although i want to have it black like yours Bunny.I think i will ask my mom if she could dye it for me ,thats the only thing i am not capeable of doing .But ,I could smile like you, I could talk like you ,I could make my nails,I could even wag my tail like you,I am a hunter like you 😂,oh i forgot there are two things i can't do for sure ,jump at high levels and eat too much .I could hurt my back spine,but thats ok we all have our ups and downs Bunny.Sorry ,I went on a tangent.
I will introduce now my two daughters and son ,the oldest one is Mía Cherrie she is my very first puppy ,Jagger is my second boy puppy although i named him coffee cause he was black like you Bunny,but his new family named him Jagger,he lives in Miami.My third puppys name is Blondy she is the sweetest girl,she loves cuddling alot.
My fourth puppy girl unfourtunately flew to heaven i miss her so much.
I am the most happiest mom ever because I have a beautiful family like you Bunny Bunny.
Another member of my family is my sister Sidney Marie she is so humble and pretty ,she is a Labrador Retriever and has black and white hair like you Bunny,oh my goodness i want my hair black 😂😂😂, although i think she has a mix but if you see her you'll see a LR.
I will tell you now my long story short.My first owner had two Chihuahuas besides me,i was attacked by them in various occasions ,they hated me ,so she decided to find me a new home where i could feel secure and loved and thats how i ended up with my beautiful mom Glorimar ,thank God or i would have been dead by now.
My sister Sidneys story is totally different to mine,this lady came to my house and told my mom she had to make a trip to the states and had nowhere to leave her .My mom fell in love with her at first sight,she was only three months old and here we live happily ever after.
I am so happy for you dear Bunny Bunny ,you have the most kind and loving family ever, please take care of them and Margo too ,tell her i love her very much she is cute.
We must be friends forever.
