OMG Thank you for a wonderful video today. I laughed right out loud when you tucked your dress in and went for it with the composed bin. You are a hoot and I love your personality. Look forward to every video.
Gayna, you are a human dynamo! I had to smile at you doing all that work in a dress and sandals. If that was me I would have mud in my shoes in about a minute and my arms and legs would be bitten to death. You made a great dent in your list. I use Elaine Foodbod's method too and it has completely taken my fear out of sourdough. I have two batches on overnight prove right now and one is to try my first soursough baguettes. Its very quiet where we live and last year I was sitting out on the lawn and I could see the grass moving as a mole burrowed through and even hear the grass roots tearing as he ploughed on
Remind me of Lucille Ball in the garden with your hair tied up and your blue shift and red sandals….its a gift to be able to make someone smile and even have a right chuckle!!! Love your vlogs and you too!!!❤
Hi Gayna, I had a laugh when I saw what you were wearing to garden. You looked so pretty in your blue dress and red sandals. Here in Western Australia, I don’t go out to garden unless I have safety boots and leather gloves on. I wear my absolute daggiest clothes that cover my arms and legs and a wide brimmed straw hat; can’t be too careful in our blazing sun and oh how much would I love to be able to garden and not worry about coming across a venomous snake or spider. The joys of living in country Australia. 😊 😂 I must say that seeing the “bad” bits of your garden made me feel better about my garden, seeing dusty furniture, etc let me see I’m not the only one constantly cleaning the outdoor furniture! 😊
Thank you as always for a relatable and inspiring vlog! :) Love seeing someone else deal with the reality of garden work while I sit and knit! :) I hope you get your garden shed this summer. This is my first summer with one and I love it - it's not only a good place for tools and seeds and pots, but has a little table and chairs so that I can have tea and gossip/ discuss the offspring with a garden view! Love your perennial border and wisteria. OK, putting knitting down and going out to weed!
Girl was working hard, lots of jobs to be done. Beautiful property/ home. Your bread looked yummy and your skirt is fab! Happy Mother’s Day from the USA. Enjoy the fizzy drink, you earned it!👏👏👏👏👏👏💐🥂
You are so smart! I do worry about your toes getting smashed, knees getting skinned, and fingers getting sliced all while wearing a dress and sandals. I love to garden; well, I love the result. 😉
No heavy lifting or digging/forking in silly sandals. Steel toe caps for those jobs. So far the fingers and knees are intact but o should get some thicker gloves for when I grub out brambles. Xxx
Gayna! You're a gun pulling down that lattice. That mole was so cute, hope they aren't a pest to your garden, Margo doing zoomies had me laughing. Its a job but well worth it when you can sit back and admire it in weeks to come. Love your skirt, it looks lovely on x
Gayna, no wonder you are so fit! The amount of work you did in your garden in one day is amazing. You certainly deserved more than one glass of Prosecco! Toby did a great job pulling out those metal things. And that top with your beautiful skirt makes a great outfit! My wisteria is finally starting to bloom but it will be nothing like the grandeur of yours. I can’t believe how much of a man Teddy is now. I feel like I’ve watched him grow up. That goes for Wilf and Bill too. Only you and Toby, Papa, Granny and your parents look exactly the same! On another topic…I’ve never seen a real live mole; that was interesting. Good thing bunny didn’t find it. Your sourdough loaf looks delicious. ❤
Thanks for sharing your garden with us in May - I think it’s my favourite time of year in Europe - mid May to mid June is so full of promise and snatches of sun. I’m living in Egypt for a while so May -June means solid 30+ days veering toward 40 🥵

Gayna! I feel like you and I need to go on vacation now after watching all that you have to do . Somewhere where we would be very pampered lol. Blessings from across the big pond. ( In the south where it’s 84 f.).
Catching up with your Vlogmays, lovely snippets of spring, thank you! Re your broken plastic pot, I've heard that B&Q are taking plastic pots for recycling now, so be worth investigating at your local? I saw your high dose Vit B in the kitchen, and thought I'd tell you about Sealion vitamins, come 6 months or a year at a time and in a little compostable pouch 😁 I agree the little mystery seedlings in your zinc raised bed look brassica like, possibly radishes? 😋
Oh my, what a hard worker you are! That garden would intimidate me, so much to do!! Amazing that such a beauty as you, can do all this to make your garden the envy of the rest of us!!
