I miss Beth, Dawgs wife. Beth was the anchor of the entire family which is common for a mama. Such a loving caring individual. Gone too soon - we love you Beth!
He cheated on her with his current wife, Beth's friend. That's why dinne of his children have been so publicly pissed lately. That led to Dog doing an interview defending his use of the N word

Sorry you were so blinded by tv cameras as to refer to her as a mama bear keeping a family together ….that show was trash.

My husband and I used to watch Dog's show back when it was still running. As I've seen almost every episode of that show, I can say I believe Dog's motives in searching for Laundrie are well-intentioned as I believe he truly does have a heart of gold. He isn't perfect, but then none of us are that. As for his former conviction, to me it seems obvious that he has transformed himself into a force for good. Just mho.

Dr Grande did not mention certain revealing stories about Dog found in his biography . For example that Dog climbed from feeding his children “tuna fish salad” sandwiches(that were cat food & mayo; he was down to his last $2)in the late 70’s to the number one Kirby Vacuum Salesman in the country (for several years running). We cannot appreciate the redemptive side of Dog unless we understand that after prison he worked 18 hour days to make something of himself in an industry that offered no salary & no compensation for gas unless you perform. Personally I run hot & cold about Dog but having read his biography in 2007, the man’s life is a story of that elusive redemption/success in America that 99.9% of felons never find and that grows ever more elusive with every new batch of “positive law” and burdensome licensure with which we are all hit every January1. He sent his kids into the world with work ethic and life skills and even though some of his compassion for his captures on Dog the Bounty Hunter were TV-extraordinaire, viewers of the show can infer that Dog does have genuine empathy for people regardless of their station in life. Dog is a complicated person. We are complicated beings. All of us. ❤️
@@laatl67 I think if he could have afforded that he would have, lol. Cans of cat food are like 45¢ now, so back then he could probably get a can with a dime. You typically tell that type of story so people really understand how desperate you truly were.
So true. I'm glad Dog is searching for Brian Laundrie. Dog has more than three decades of experience hunting fugitives that eluded the FBI. He knows how they think and where they hide. He knows how to work with the Fed's and local LE so he doesn't jeopardize a case. ♡
Must be nice to not know what it’s like to be poor (but today hypocrites are the majority). Today you can get food fairly easily, but it wasn’t always that way. Theirs endless stories of elderly eating cat food.
Also living on the Island and raised most of my life here I can tell you the N-word doesn't have the same negative connotation here that it does on main land. Actually calling someone a Mexican is considered far more racist. There are racial terms for black people here but the N word is not one of them as crazy as that might sound to some people. Look up what those terms are b/c I wont post them here(keep in mind different island cultures have different words) and you will not find any instance where Dog has ever used them. Dog is many things but racist is not one of them.

The tip that Dog got about Brian Laundrie being in that other nature park turned out to be true. The park has records of Brian and his parents being there 3 days before Gabby was reported missing, and no one saw Brian back at home when his parents returned........while police continued to search the wrong park.....hmmm.
Really? You think the FBI tells the public everything during an active manhunt? Right. DOG is jeopardizing this search bc his ego won't allow his mouth to stay shut.
I don't care if Dog is doing this for his reputation, I want him to do his job and get justice for Gabby. He will deserve the credit if he does. Like anyone who finds Brain. I hope Dog is healthy and prosperous. We all have difficulties. Life is a job. We are born, live, love and die. Some people live their lives in the public eye. Dog has turned his life around after he was caught. I would rather him be a bounty hunter instead of a criminal. Let him have his last moment. Finding Brain should be more important.
Thank you for your reply. I lived most of my youth and adult life as a criminal, but then turned my life around and today I work for attorneys. My attorney-clients feel exactly as you do. They would rather I be the man I am today than the person I used to be many years ago. The clincher: I'm overwhelmed with work. I asked God through His Son to forgive me for the life I lived and He obviously did just that. My thinking is that Brian is likely responsible for Gabby's death and he should be held accountable. I don't have a problem with Dog being involved in the search.
@@dy9300 No one has ever said he’s perfect. I really hate racists, but I can still respect the work they do when it’s important and they’re good at it. That’s Dog.

Dog has a more 'interesting' life story than I realized...if he is the one that finds Brian, the credit he gets for it will be deserved. I'm wondering if Brian has taken his own life.

"Godspeed"!? If "God" were about "speed," "He" would have prevented Gabby Petito being murdered. Does your "God" "move in mysterious ways"? Or does "He" not move at all?
I don’t think Brian is thinking very far ahead. He has two choices right now, whether he’s guilty or not. He can either report to the police and explain his side of whatever happened, or he’s going to spend his life homeless, jobless, hidden, and eventually totally compromised as he ages and needs care and help he can no longer seek out. When you weigh those two things, choosing the latter makes him look indisputably guilty. Because what innocent person would choose the latter?

I am a fan of Dog's, and of Beth when they had their show. The guy can get the jumpers when no one else can. That's what matters. I don't care if Dog is doing this to stay relevant, which I think is part of the motivation, but if he can do it, it's still a win. At least Dog isn't as worthless of a celebrity as a Kardashian/Jenner. He does something positive for society.
I agree and I'm tired of a lot of these Petty RUclips creators taking potshots at Dog the Bounty Hunter. I mean several of these people take advantage of people and horrible situations using their RUclips channel ...and they have the nerve to snark at Dog the Bounty Hunter whose World they cannot understand in a million years.
Hey Dr Grande! You said in your analysis that Dog is strangely endearing. I feel that about him too. I have seen several of his shows over the years. I always liked him. I felt terrible for him since his wife, Beth passed away. He does have a lot of experience bringing in the criminals. Thank you for talking about him today. I think your analysis was spot on. He is not interfering in the investigation and he has a lot of fans. A lot of people that would not necessarily Call the FBI but they will call Dog BC they know he will keep their name out of it. So he is not hurting anything and he might very well , Crack the case. So to speak. Your analysis was much more interesting than a can of monster. I enjoyed your analysis. Thank you.
When Brian returned to Florida he was alone , and driving Gabbies van ! I am not a "Dog" fan , and have never watched his show , except maybe for a few minutes .Dog does seem to understand the criminal mind set and associated antics, although Laundrie might be a psychopath , which would be outside of Dogs ken .Prison is , allegedly , to rehabilitate wayward citizens. Dog seems to have surrendered his anti social antics . Being convicted of murder, for someone who was shot , when you are merely sitting in the car , is a strong charge , although in hindsight , it seems , carrying a gun to confront a pimp at his front door would not be expected to end well . It seems Dog has found some clues the " authorities " have not , And he has , allegedly , posted a $200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Brian Laundrie .
Dog is great at finding people, probably because he knows how the people he's seeking, processes their next move. Either way, so long as Brian is taken into custody, who cares about his past? 👋

Dog drinking that energy drink seems more likely than Brian. The Utah PD offered Brian bottle water, he refused because plastic isn't eco friendly. It seems out of character for a person with such strong views on ecology would toss out an aluminum can.
His daughter died at around the same age. I’d say that’s his main motivation, and he seems to be getting some results. More power to him, and I think being derisive about it is beneath you.
He's doing damage control. Dog did an interview recently where he defended his use of the N word. His kids came out publicly against him for cheating in Beth with his current wife, Beth's friend. His kids were not invited to the wedding because if their support of BLM. He's definitely trying to rehab his image.
@@dy9300 It was his new fiancé (now wife) who made that decision it not invite his daughters, right after it was decided to close the fan shop that was opened by Beth and run by a close family friend. Suddenly all Beth merch was deep discounted. All this while Dog was being removed from his production company for being verbally abusive to people on set and using ‘Unleashed’ and his tv show created logo on CBD oil that wasn’t connected with the network or production company. The production company owned the shop, so when that went down they liquidated the store. The only merch discounted was Beth’s all Dog’s merch remained full price. How do I know, I bought a few pieces and am part of an official fan group run by the family. His daughter has a show she appears on supporting wrongly convicted people of colour and supporting their release. They are often supported by the local BLM groups because they are more aware of local cases she’s using her name to get more light cast on and has help many of these cases be reheard. This is about work in the justice system for her, not about Dog changing his image. Many fans turned away from him when he choose his kids with Beth (minus their son) to side with his new wife. Both daughters had not seen their father since their mother’s funeral and has expressed sadness in his disconnect of the family. Beth was the mortar of the family and kept Dog in line. She loved all his children, not just hers. His new wife tried on camera but I have a feeling much of that was for show. I have a feeling after a while she didn’t like standing in her shadow. Just my two cents. Any man who doesn’t love his kids unconditionally doesn’t deserve them and they are grieving the loss of both now. So as you can see there always is more to a story than just ‘BLM stuff’.
@@bystarlight9551 this was not the first time Dog got in trouble for being racist. He doesn't hide his use of the N word. If fact, he defends it. His kids have had a problem with this well before Beth passed. I know this because it played out in public. I also have a friend that worked with them on their old show. Dog had "success " on his show because there was a large team of folks making sure of it. Left to his own devices he's pawing what could have been potential evidence ( the can). He was waaaaay off from Brian's location. He claimed he got inside info. The same info the Laundrie's neighbor said on national tv. Dog decided to hop on this highly publicized case just a few weeks after he had that major fallout with his kids. Just weeks after he did an interview defending his use of the N word. Midway through "searching " for Brian, Dog tried to get another tv deal. The network didn't want to have anything to do with him and suddenly he lost interest in the case. Funny how that worked out.
I admire Dog cause he turned his life around. He is out making an impact in the world. He did not continue and die as a criminal. Im glad he made a new life after Beth's death. He is like the energizer bunny, he keeps on going.

Dog is good at bounty hunting. He's been doing this successfully for many years now. We are more than our worst moments. Second chances are imperative. And sometimes many chances lol. We are all imperfect. I am one who believes he truly believes he's a Christian and tries to help others change their lives. To see him, on the "right" side of the law is a good example for those he tries to help. People can and do change with age, time, experience, having children, ect.
He is good at what he does, he didn't shoot anyone but still was guilty, which is the law. I hope he catches this guy and he gets the accolades he deserves!
Ahh…a good laugh is just what I needed this morning before going under anesthesia. Your content has really helped me get thru this cancer battle 🙏 Thanks, Dr G. 👏
I watched a few episodes of "Dog the bounty hunter". I thought it was good that someone was catching hardcore criminals. Then I realised all they were doing was "arresting" 3 stone methamphetamine addicts that skipped bail for a few hundred bucks using excessive force in the process. I am pleased the programme has gone.
@Your life Does not matter He said the N word more than once but back in that time black people were using racial derogatory epitaphs against white people too. Cracker, Honkey, Pigeon Shit, come to mind. I don't believe he's a racist for a minute. He's friends with Snoop Dog. Racist is a word that is now highly overused and has lost meaning. He's of German and English descent but also proudly claims that he is part native American on his mothers side. Chapman is an English name.

I watched Dog the Bounty Hunter for a couple of seasons. I was attracted to his story and his determination to catch those who are breaking the law and turn them in. At the same time, he always tried to give help to those people who needed it. He and Beth were definitely NOT your typical socially acceptable couple. Yet, they loved their children, gave them a lovely home, a sweet life and did their best just as the rest of us are trying ( hopefully) to do. No family is perfect. No man is perfect. We all need God in our lives. Let’s not try to take the sliver out of our fellow man’s eye until we take the board out of our own. That said, I always enjoy Dr. Grande’s hilarious dry humor.
First of all, Dr. Grande, it's called a PIMP 😆 Secondly, I honestly think that Dog has a good heart and tries to give people (obviously not a murderer like Brian Laundrie) a second chance so they can turn their life around like he did. I think that, yeah, he's probably doing this in part to get some of his fame and attention back but I also think he genuinely wants to catch him and get Gabby justice. I honestly think Dog may end up being the one that finds the coward. I hope he does!
So you've convicted Laundrie already, and without the "technicalities" of law, evidence, and trial? Interesting twist: rejecting the rule of law in pursuit of "justice" in keeping with the rule of law.
I remember a bounty hunter trying to chase down my pedophile uncle years ago. I was too young to help that bounty hunter. The industry is scary but oh how I wish someone would’ve stopped our abuser at any cost.

Hey doc! I just watched "Dark Side of the Ring" and learned about wrestler Chris Benoit. (Dog the bounty hunter kind of looks like he could have been a wrestler, don't you think?). Chris Benoit's story is very sad, but might be a good topic to cover as it relates to the effects of head injuries on mental health.

I’ve never been a fan of the guy. He seems extremely unsavory and untrustworthy. I see his involvement in the hunt for Laundrie as showboating. It reminds me of Phil McGraw insinuating himself into ‘attempting to help’ Britney Spears unasked. It’s gross. I hope Laundrie is found, soon. I guess it doesn’t matter who gets the credit. Look. I can’t say many positive things about the guy’s character. He has some crime in his own background, and over a half dozen marriages. Nine, according to one report. A television show doesn’t tell me whether I would want his help. If he finds Brian, it would be great. But law enforcement is going through dozens of leads, and trying to separate the good from the bad. Meanwhile, they have to prevent any of their best information from getting back to the family of Brian.
@@k.g.m.254 Okay. I never watched the show, so I have no idea whether he’s any good at it or not. But, knowing the nature of television entertainment, perception goes further than skills and abilities. He would be limited in what he can do since he’s likely working without the aid of law enforcement. Bounty hunting is illegal in some states, but since there is no bail bondsman funding the search, it’s irrelevant. But, conceivably some fans could contribute to Dog’s expenses. But I think it’s either unlikely or not much money in total.

It's not though. This entire channel is dripping with ivory tower style arrogance. His complete lack of a personality masks his massive ego.

I didn't know he existed until he invited himself into this case, and certainly didn't know his history. It's a wonder he isn't still in prison.
Didn't the TV show open up to Dog talking about his past involvement in murder? Or was I remembering the old advert that used to run advertising about his new show back then?
@@jnagarya519 Why is it a wonder he's not still in prison? His tv show was on for a long time and it was popular.

Great sarcasm. Lol
I do definitely think Dog has had some questionable moments. But there's no doubt he's good at what he does
If you want to blindly believe, then there is "no doubt". But what is his actual record?
First of all, Dr. Grande, it's called a PIMP 😆 Secondly, I honestly think that Dog has a good heart and tries to give people (obviously not a murderer like Brian Laundrie) a second chance so they can turn their life around like he did. I think that, yeah, he's probably doing this in part to get some of his fame and attention back but I also think he genuinely wants to catch him and get Gabby justice. I honestly think Dog may end up being the one that finds the coward. I hope he does!
He knows it pimp, he just likes to throw some humor in. Lol
If it walks likes a duck and quacks like a duck it's a duck, or in this case a PIMP.
I, myself, hope to be a supervisor of sex workers one day. Currently, I'm only a Team Leader.
I care less what Dog's background is......as long as he does his awesome job and I hope he finds Dirty Brian Laundries.
So you've convicted Laundrie already, and without the "technicalities" of law, evidence, and trial? Interesting twist: rejecting the rule of law in pursuit of "justice" in keeping with the rule of law.

It's hard to believe Dog was a criminal.
dog is only 5'7 even though the production team did an absolutely amazing job making him look over 6 feet tall throughout the shows entire run.

That is a really good idea. I remember when it happened back in 2007. One of the most shocking things to happen in the world of wrestling.

I’ve never been a fan of the guy. He seems extremely unsavory and untrustworthy. I see his involvement in the hunt for Laundrie as showboating. It reminds me of Phil McGraw insinuating himself into ‘attempting to help’ Britney Spears unasked. It’s gross.

@@AnneEloiseOfCNY My exact thoughts! Right from the get go when he said the name with such snobbish distaste: "DoG, the boun-TEE HunTUHR" 🙄 Like...tuck your over-educated b.s. back in, sweetie.
I think “Dog, The Bounty Hunter” seeks attention. It’s a way to get into the news. There’s probably a reason he was married so many times.
Who cares? What he's doing in keeping attention on the case and that is GOOD.
He's probably not a warm and cuddly guy...but that might even be a good thing for those who track down criminal fugitives.
@Larry Truelove
Yes. Dog already admitted that was the case about him wanting attention. I read that in an article. 👍🏼
@@k.g.m.254
Okay.
I have a liking for dog. I'm rooting for him. Everyone deserves a second chance. Maybe he's not so politically correct but who cares? Go dog!!!
Yeah go racist white men !!!! 😳
Dog just did an interview defending his use of the N word. Any evidence he collects will be contaminated and thrown out of court

Perhaps your knowing t.v. wannabes need people like you to make their narcissistic personality issues look wise and credible. You need some therapy, dear, but not from someone who takes his problems and ego to the airwaves to get his following. I have been following this from the beginning. From day one of Brian disappearance, people were tagging “Dog” to find him. He stated in his interview that they come off their honeymoon because of the requests to help. He’s donating his time and resources, plus has added his own money to the reward. "I hope you find this video to be more energizing than a can of monsters" 😂😂 Cant confirm nor deny that
My very first thought when I saw the video of him knocking on the Laundrie's door was "Oh lord, here's that moron "Dog" swooping in for a cheap publicity grab. He's trying to make himself "relevant" again (as if he ever was)."
If he does find Brian, I'll definitely give him credit for and respect for doing so. However, I've always found him to be an obnoxious, fame-seeking, caricature of a person: annoying to look at and annoying to listen to. But I can't deny that he does have some skills and certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his... whatever he does.
Boy you’re not too bright are you you’ll give him respect if he finds Brian laundry what about all the other hundreds of fugitives that he has caught I guess he doesn’t deserve respect for that right
Who cares if he's obnoxious if he solves the problem.
Read Dog's book, Dr. Grande. He is deeply flawed but also generally humble and compassionate. You are throwing too much shade on him in this video.
yes ...dr tpdd ... I am disappointed on your need to over tarnish Chapman, and your excessive judgmental sarcasm about his questionable virtue and motivation. None of this negates strides he has made in finding out about De Soto camping weekends TWICE which alludes to the insensitivity and possible criminality of this entire family. What's important here is that their shady behavior should be investigated. You Dr. Todd are very bright, articulate but very smug and many will now discredit even legitimate findings Dog may find. You could easily have said questionable background with some red flags but claims to be born again or somesuch and leave it at that. All of your berating did not help promote finding Brian, and possibly could taint legitimate future findings. Don't throw away the baby with the bathwater. In other words, Thumbs Down on trashing him. Open up your mind past your judgmental leanings for the sake of solving this case.
He has a right to tell the truth. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not valid. Everyone is flawed but that's not the point. Their show was for entertainment and mostly bs. Now he's out for fame only which is disgusting. He's no smarter than FBI etc.

@@zenawarrior7442 thanx for sharing your opinion, I differ and that's ok. No one really knows another's motivation imo, its all judgmental to assume we know.
