Yeah I heard he remarried recently but I came across this older video when he first Lost Beth and I replied because of the "Man Up" comment. No man has to be made to feel even worse when losing their soul mate because they show emotion. Beth was his other half so it's like losing an arm or a leg. He said so himself she was the glue that held all the family together... He just seems so lost here, He's heartbroken but I'm glad he's fell in love again because he may look tough and act tough when he has to with his job but I can tell he has a heart of gold. Just a pure genuinely caring loving soul. He deserves happiness especially into his older years as I don't think he'd of got through his grief on his own & his new wife lost her husband 6 months before Beth passed so in a way they can comfort each other. I know what Dog is going through, I lost my husband two weeks ago after suffering from meningitis and married for 49 years. I cried day and night and I can't even sleep. I am listening at him talking about his wife and I can't stop crying thinking about my husband and at the same time I feel so sorry for him. I just pray to God for him, for myself and for all the other people that goes through this type of pain.

@Lashawn Reid When my best friend died, there were no cameras, no audience, no judgement by the public. I threw myself into work. HARD. It was therapeutic for me to be so tired at the end of the day. I couldn't have survived if I didn't have work. I couldn't have survived if I had a lot of time to think. You still grieve, no doubt about it. But to each their own. Life cannot be scripted. Dog is dealing as best he knows how. If his "handlers" wanted him to be interviewed and he wasn't capable, he'd say so.

I lost my two sons four months apart to muscular dystrophy twenty some years ago I still haven’t got over it ! Hospice helped me stop the crying but still I’ll be talking about them and I’ll start cry again! That pain never goes away! God Bless you and your family dog

Wrong. Manning up doesn't mean go without grieving. But as a man, when something like this happens, a man should always man up. That doesn't mean don't grieve though.
Why would anyone ever say to him to man up after loosing the love of his life,that was his soul mate and loved her with all his heart and VICE versa. That's the thing about dog though. As he said he is a crybaby. His emotions were always worn on his sleeve and he will never be ready for this interview and he knew that. And he knew what Beth would have wanted him to do so he did it. But the bottom line is he would never be ready for that interview not even in 20 years.... A love like that is very rare in today's world where everyone and everything is disposable.
The one thing I’ll say... they may call him a crybaby... but each tear and sigh that he lets out is so much better for his grieving.. he feels it... it’s raw now yes... but getting it out emotionally will allow healing to be easier.. he’s not going to be swallowing all the sadness.. he can accept...
Yes, he needs to take it easy & slow down some. It takes time to reflect & let God heal this busy man's broken heart. Death is a part of life & hope of a resurrection of loved ones is a comfort. Beth knew God & thought the world of her family. We may die but love is an eternal element that we all possess in this world and beyond.
Dog has the gift of story telling. He is very articulate. I love hearing him tell stories. He is something special. I loved Bethy. She was so strong and beautiful.....the reason i watched the show was for that loud mouthed, sassy, tough, smart, caring woman called Bethy.

That "man up" advice is selfish B.S. He's been through a traumatic experience - not only the past weeks since her passing, but the past few years. Being a caregiver is draining, not only emotionally, but mentally, physically, and perhaps even spiritually. He deserves to take time not only to grieve, but to take care of himself.
This was very sad to watch and that wasnt a act. You can see his pain and this man is deeply hurt. I hope he gets through this and learns to cope with it as best as he can.
I keep coming back to this video, very touching. The love they had for one another was unbeatable. I used to watch their show when I was a young kid, especially during summer break.. absolutely loved them. Poor Dog, I feel so bad to this day. A quirky family, like any.. but they were something special and will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️🏝️

Gut wrenching words. My best friend was type 1 diabetic 29 years old after a night partying he had a heart attack and diabetic seizure. When I found out I started to think about shit in the end thinking was he frightened, did he feel he'd fucked it, was he in pain, was it quick? Did people not help him and leave him to die or did they try to help etc. I also seen my dad go from 158 to 128 in a couple months from cancer. My old wrestling coach as well from 190/200 to 150 before passing. Seeing that shit made me think just a put a fuckin bullet in me than that shit; lying in bed screamin watchin yourself fade. These are some of the hardest things to think of because it's the reality of death. To be honest it's best to not think about it at all when it happens it happens and there's fuck all that can be done. Hopefully you won't even know it happened.

I totally get his pain. I lost my wife of 15 years on December 31st, 2018. She was sick for a few years but she chose to live her life to the fullest. She passed away very suddenly while we were out celebrating our 16th anniversary of being together. She was only 34 years old. My heart goes out to DOG. I know his pain but it’s true that time does heal. My wife wanted me to live my life to the fullest for our children. That’s what I’m doing. God Bless You Dog!

My great grandfather lost his wife in the 1980s when they were in their 60s. He spent the last 20+ years of his life crying over her. I remember watching him leave family dinner to go cry about her. When you truly love someone it’s impossible to move on especially when you’re up there in age like Dog said. His faith is incredible and his love for Beth is of equal strength

@nm g After my mother died for WEEKS i would be fine one minute and the next any little thing could set me off and i would just totally fall apart. We would be on our way somewhere with our child in the back of the car and i would just totally loose it, and we would have to turn around and go home. My husband would have to explain that i "wasnt ready yet" It still happens to me to this day but its ALOT less frequently MAN does that shit just hit you HARD, and theres nothing you can say to yourself to "pull it together" and NOT cry your eyes out and i think thats where dog is right now. Poor thing....i just hope he is able to heal.

Yeah I heard he remarried recently but I came across this older video when he first Lost Beth and I replied because of the "Man Up" comment. No man has to be made to feel even worse when losing their soul mate because they show emotion. Beth was his other half so it's like losing an arm or a leg. He said so himself she was the glue that held all the family together... He just seems so lost here, He's heartbroken but I'm glad he's fell in love again because he may look tough and act tough when he has to with his job but I can tell he has a heart of gold. Just a pure genuinely caring loving soul. He deserves happiness especially into his older years as I don't think he'd of got through his grief on his own & his new wife lost her husband 6 months before Beth passed so in a way they can comfort each other. @Lashawn Reid When my best friend died, there were no cameras, no audience, no judgement by the public. I threw myself into work. HARD. It was therapeutic for me to be so tired at the end of the day. I couldn't have survived if I didn't have work. I couldn't have survived if I had a lot of time to think. You still grieve, no doubt about it. But to each their own. Life cannot be scripted. Dog is dealing as best he knows how. If his "handlers" wanted him to be interviewed and he wasn't capable, he'd say so.

That's the thing about dog though. As he said he is a crybaby. His emotions were always worn on his sleeve and he will never be ready for this interview and he knew that. And he knew what Beth would have wanted him to do so he did it. But the bottom line is he would never be ready for that interview not even in 20 years.... A love like that is very rare in today's world where everyone and everything is disposable.

Gut wrenching words. My best friend was type 1 diabetic 29 years old after a night partying he had a heart attack and diabetic seizure. When I found out I started to think about shit in the end thinking was he frightened, did he feel he'd fucked it, was he in pain, was it quick? Did people not help him and leave him to die or did they try to help etc.
I also seen my dad go from 158 to 128 in a couple months from cancer. My old wrestling coach as well from 190/200 to 150 before passing. Seeing that shit made me think just a put a fuckin bullet in me than that shit; lying in bed screamin watchin yourself fade.
These are some of the hardest things to think of because it's the reality of death.
To be honest it's best to not think about it at all when it happens it happens and there's fuck all that can be done. Hopefully you won't even know it happened.

I totally get his pain. I lost my wife of 15 years on December 31st, 2018. She was sick for a few years but she chose to live her life to the fullest. She passed away very suddenly while we were out celebrating our 16th anniversary of being together. She was only 34 years old. My heart goes out to DOG. I know his pain but it’s true that time does heal. My wife wanted me to live my life to the fullest for our children. That’s what I’m doing.

Yep my ex fil passed away the day of his moms funeral...broken heart "heart attack"... Then his sister passed away 1 day exactly 22 hours after him... Broken heart deaths do too occur🖤

My great grandfather lost his wife in the 1980s when they were in their 60s. He spent the last 20+ years of his life crying over her. I remember watching him leave family dinner to go cry about her. When you truly love someone it’s impossible to move on especially when you’re up there in age like Dog said. His faith is incredible and his love for Beth is of equal strength

@nm g After my mother died for WEEKS i would be fine one minute and the next any little thing could set me off and i would just totally fall apart. We would be on our way somewhere with our child in the back of the car and i would just totally loose it, and we would have to turn around and go home. My husband would have to explain that i "wasnt ready yet" It still happens to me to this day but its ALOT less frequently MAN does that shit just hit you HARD, and theres nothing you can say to yourself to "pull it together" and NOT cry your eyes out and i think thats where dog is right now. Poor thing....i just hope he is able to heal.

My husband was home as he wished, I was there with him as you, they gave him 18 months he lasted 5 months. The morning he passed I told him I was going to take a quick shower before the hospice nurse came, he went while I was in the shower, he didn’t want me to see if go, always thinking of me until the end, I had the best ever, my best friend, my love, my soul mate, my partner in crime. My heart is broken, all I want is one more day.

We are all going to have to take that walk over that bridge, some people just have to take it sooner rather than later. Take it one day at a time!! Duane I wish I was able to come visit you!! I am scheduled for surgery on the 27th of this month to have some surgery, I have 2 herniasthat are causing me a lot of pain. I know that God has his my surgery in his hands already, So I will be 100% A-O. K.!!
