- Single seed means the run does not reroll maps and items, the run finishes on the same seed it began on.
Wow! It only took 70 tries to beat the game twice! This run had really good luck getting Dragon/HP and a ton of monofluids in Mines and Ruins. I await the run where I find Gizonde before Mines, and also get Rafoie before Ruins. Dragon/HP is just nice insurance to finish out a run like that, but I don't expect to see that very often :P
Gonna go for sub 1:40! I feel bad about not putting these on Speedrun.com but the leaderboard is set up in such a way that if I submit a time faster than my HUnewearl run, that run will no longer be visible by default. It will show the FOnewearl time instead :/

Nicely done. PSO such an interesting game to speed run. Its like a tactical RPG with 1/2 second turns.

But also.. OMG! I've been playing this game forever and I had no idea you could change the order of the techniques in the R+Y quick menu! o_O

Is there a technique to feed mags fast I thought there had to be a pause in between each feed but it seems instant here. Maybe that was just blue burst or schthack idr tbh. I also used to play gc though.
as soon as you feed an item, you can press pause to close the screen instead of waiting for the stat growth animation to finish. the limit to how fast you can feed mag is how fast you can close and open the menu :D
What version of the game are you playing? Game Cube/Emulation I assume?
it's gamecube disc played on wii. the wii s-video cables make the game look nice :)
@@KaiiLikeHawaii Ah I figured it was the GC version, but I noticed a few odd things. For example, on the title screen normally you get the "License by Nintendo" logo on the bottom left hand corner (your game doesn't have this for some reason).
Another thing I noticed is that on your version is that the L and R icons (during the menu's) look different from the GC version. For example, on my GC version the L and R icons actually resemble the GC controller buttons. Your version just has generic "L" and "R".
Same thing when you are in combat the "R" is just a generic "R" letter, but on my version it has the actual GC button with an "R" in the middle.
Haha, I know its kinda weird that I notice such small details, but this is why I asked which version of the game were you playing.
@@diasflac0g that is an impressive amount of observations o: the reason all of those things are different is because it is the japanese version, 1.2 specifically. it includes normal grass assassin speed, belras shooting from the center of their body, and those hud changes along with some other small things.... like better luck .... :p
@@KaiiLikeHawaii That makes sense now. I didn't know that the JP version had those small hud changes. That's interesting.
I assume that the JP ver 1.2 that you own is an earlier build than what we got here in the US? That would explain the "generic" L and R letters rather than having the full on GC controller button.
I own the US ver 1.1. As far as I know we only got 3 versions in the USA. Version 1.0, 1.1 and finally 1.2 (Plus).
