Finally someone said positive about those leather quality. I have the marina blue and the quality is sick. I agree with that pebble type of look which gives a fake look of leather.

@@j.hernandez3825 it's crazy but not that far fetched. Sneaker community has become jaded in a way do to resell/hype, how accessible a drop will be and the fact we get like a million different releases now and some are alternative riffs of OG colorways.

Your pair looks a lot more plush than the other pairs I have seen. The others look closer to mids material. Just cant mess with goat or stockx anymore because 80% of the time it will now come from overseas making it harder to legit check because of the differences. Not saying overseas pairs are fake.

My pair is not as plush as J's pair. But the quality is okay. Better than Shadows 2.0 tho
@@j.hernandez3825 I would just take a look at Jaythesneakerguy pair, because I think he has access to a retail shop. Wear testers got a pair from goat as well. Just kinda compare a few different pairs. Im sure us sneakerheads just be over thinking it sometimes.

Never seen this amount of black tumbled leather around the swish and toe box on tis shoe. An dive see may from Nike and Foot Locker. The black leather has coating on it with a synthetic look. Complete opposite of this.

Interesting ..Great review...I'm puzzled tho..I just ordered a pair of Marina's that's on its way to the Ebay authenticators. I bought them because it was clear in every image I saw that the Jordan Marin's has better than average to premium leather that was used in making this version of the silouette....But Hesskicks and other related sneaker vloggers were all saying pre-release "awwwwe the leather on the Marina's is sh*t" hmmm?..I got nothing against Hesskicks he has a great sneaker channel..but maybe they make comments like that to deter you from coping valuable pairs..Cause it's clear in your review here and in many other online youtube sneaker reviews for the Jordan 1 Merina that the quality is above average. It's not hard *ss Jordan 1 mid or like most Nike dunk hard leather.. In every review I've seen the Marina leather looks butter soft subtle to me and they get more soft with wear. Many people tried to say that the 2016 Shadow greys didn't have top grade leather equal to or better than the highly touted OG Shattered Backboards or the Jordan 1 breds. But I've held them in hand and I have not seen a Jordan 1 with better finished leather than the Jordan 1 shadow greys, equal to, but not better... I'll put money on that excluding fake pairs.

A lot of these marinas will be so inconsistent but by far the quality is not “crap” it’s decent.Me too, I was surprised to hear so many huge RUclipsrs say the shadows weren’t very good blah blah blah…I think that’s why they stayed at 200-220 for a long time due to influencers talking down on it. I also agree that shadows are some of the best 1s as quality goes.

I would like to know what material this pair is made of. I have not found much information nor have I had the opportunity to see this pair in person. In Mexico, the sneakers have an internal label that informs if they are made of leather (cow), if they are made of synthetic rubber, etc. I hope you can help me. Thank you, carnal!
I think it’s a mixture of real leather and rubber synthetic brother but I’m not 100% on that sorry compa

Yeah bro it looks better on the video but the leather grain itself isn’t all that, it’s decent and mine I believe it was dhl Hong Kong from goat. But these pairs are coming from “goat partners” I can almost bet this shoe is setting in Asia all over stores.
