Thank you Paul for mentioning my channel there! This was a really enjoyable video! The green - ness throughout it is so pleasing on the eye. I looked up a word to describe it and came across the word Verdure, which I have not heard before! Those arches look perfect in that location. It must have been no mean feat moving them! As usual you have achieved so many videos during the month and all of them have been of exceptionally high quality and enjoyment value.

      Thank you Louise!
Verdure - I have never heard of that before, but I think the French & Spanish for green is verde. It was particularly lush, especially after the rainfall on the previous day. It is so rural in Herefordshire; I drove there and barely saw another car - perfect!
Thanks so much for your kind words.
      Paul.

Hello Paul = greetings from Poland
What a beautiful video, filmed in the most glorious surroundings. You found a real gem to do your Monthly Vlog from.
Fascinating to hear the best comments from contributors about the 11 videos your produced during May. I'm really looking forward to Jiunes films.

A 'Walpolean' Gothic-style interior of Shobdon Church must be unique - like Walpole's Gothic pile at Strawberry Hill - which I visited, soon after its renovation. Highly recommended by the way. The Shobdon Arches must also be pretty unique in having been removed from the Church. That must have provoked some controvery at the time, surely, considering its replacement - mitigated perhaps by the royal seal of approval.

I had never heard of Horace Walpole before - I have since learnt that he was a diarist and a historian. I hadn't heard of Strawberry Hill before either! Then again, I know virtually nothing about London, or its buildings, apart from the very famous ones like St. Paul's and Tower Bridge.
I found the church fascinating and beautiful but can also see why it does not appeal to everyone.
      Thanks for a great comment.
      Take care,
      Paul

It was definitely worth getting up early on a Bank Holiday Morning for. The roads were blissfully quiet.
I have a few things planned to film for June, but you never know exactly how each month will turn out.
      Kind Regards,

Hi Paul, time flies we are almost in June, how did that happen!! The avenue at the start was magnificent and the arches were a surprise to see too.
As always good fun to review the month past and hear from the others who watch your channel too.
Yes, party lines, we are dating ourselves now, technology has just come on in leaps and bounds. I could never have imagined being able to do more or less anything on my phone. And it's not so long ago that we had to endure that dial up connection sound!!
    All the best!!

I really enjoyed my morning filming in Shobdon - lovely village - the inside of the chuch blew me away when I opened that door and those arches are a suprise on the top of the hill too! It was a perfect monthly vlog type location. Nice and quiet as well.
Yes, technology moves so fast, although I have never been an early adopter - my phone is ancient and slow!
      Cheers!

Hi Paul, what your monthly vlog highlights for me is the amount of work you do, not just filming but research and editing, and all to a high standard. Dare I say broadcast quality. I wonder what you would do if a television company contacted you about supplying content. Would you take it on or would you think you could do without the stress? You never know. Ron

      Hi Ron!
      Thank you.
I would hate to work in TV. My worst nightmare!
      Thanks for your kind words.
Hope you have a great week.
      Take care,
      Paul
