I have a lot of respect for Esam but Bonk is really making a name for himself and metaknight as well. It was awesome to see them play, both are hype players with crazy combo characters
ESAM and Pikachu in disadvantage are ungodly. It's a very unglamorous part of the game but he's so good at DI-ing out of big damage strings that you forget Pikachu is very light. Commentators always act like Pika can die to a breeze but this man has him out there at 150 on a regular basis. And giving the commentators opportunities to make "just a rat in a cage" jokes that they usually whiff.

I mean mk doesn’t really have optimal kill confirms and kill options. His only optimal kill confirms is ladder and bridge but those are hard to hit bc you have to follow di on every uair or dair and also for finishers. It’s better off playing a different sword character, but i play him bc he’s fun
Small, good frame data, large hitboxes for its size, crazy combo loops, a good projectile, incredibly safe moves, decent kill power, one of the best disadv. states, a throw kill confirm, edgeguards really well, insane recovery, only real weakness is being one of the 10 lightest characters. Ya, Pikachu is ok.
Can anybody tell me why nobody was poppin off when ESAM doing sick thing? Does he do something bad in the past? Or just toxic audience? Or… no hate here just wondering
I get that meta knight was too op back then but taking away everything he utilized for combos and movement is going too far. Pikachu practically smashed, tossed, and edge guarded MK with a breeze!
People literally just claim that ESAM is an asshole with absolutely no evidence. He said some questionable things like 8-10 years ago but despite that I've met him multiple times and have watched his streams dozens of times and I've never seen anything that makes him seem like an ass
