Daytona is my favorite place in the world. We vacation there every year from Kentucky, and it’s in my 10 year plan to move my family from Kentucky to Daytona. I have family in Titusville, so I’ve been going to Daytona my whole life. My heart lives there. As much as I love Kentucky, Daytona Beach holds my heart. ❤️
I love Daytona. The people are amazing as well as the attractions.
My husband and I lived in DB for 20 years. We moved to Asheville NC . I have always hated it here. My husband recently passed away. I am moving back to DB with my sister. I have missed it so much.
I’m sorry to hear your husband passed away 😞
Asheville is a beautiful area though. I spent most of my summers as a kid visiting my grandparents in Mars Hill, so not too far down the road from you.
If you need any help with relocating back to Daytona, just let me know 👍 I love to help out!
20 years do you remember the old boardwalk with the beach comber and the ski lift over the water that 180 at the end was crazy
I grew up in Daytona area great blend of culture and races people are pleasant and friendly
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good night life, it’s more land for development and future growth.❤️☀️
Excellent. Following. Sounds like a fabulous new path.
Thank you for following!
Thanks! We are thinking about moving right here!
I would love to connect with you, figure out what your real estate goals are and help you out! Feel free to reach out to me anytime!

I’m absolutely in love with Florida in general even though I’ve only been twice Daytona was my first trip with my grandma who had her last trip to Florida 2 years ago after she went down hill in health loosing her leg and such I’ll never forget she did a backflip into the pool and amazed my daughter lol I remember my family being so happy and having a blast I just can’t wait to return I’m wanting to move there and don’t know where to look for rent homes and thing not to crazy priced we’re moving my boyfriends mom there this coming weekend
Ron Rice lived there. It's rumored that he died of HIV !
I’ve visited during Quilt Week in late Feb. I would say the conversation center is another nice amenity of the area. Easy parking there, too.
Absolutely! They just got done hosting a massive cheer competition there
Fantastic video!!! I couldn’t agree w you more. Thank🌹You!!! 🙌🏼👏🏼👍🏼
This was very great content love it!
DAB I absolutely love.. and finding your way around town is simple. Rossi Restaurant is great as well as the omelets house.. Ice skating is also great in the summer humidity.. not to mention between the ocean and Halifax river there’s a street named Robben❤️
I deleted my original comment. I was having an exhausted, tired-feeling kind of day. There is good and bad everywhere you go. There's things about Daytona that I like, and things that I don't like. Thank you for this video! have a good day
I’m glad I stumbled or to your page. I am looking to relocate from Michigan to Daytona. Perhaps you can help me with that you are a realtor
I’d be happy to help! Feel free to shoot me a text when you’re ready to start the home search!
Incredible video !! Thank you so much 🙏
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
My 🏡 home town born and raised ❤️❤️
Thanks for your video.
You’re welcome!
We were poor and lived in ALL the projects there(pine haven, soul city, Southside, etc. I went to Holly Hill elementary, silver sands middle, Campbell middle, obms, Seabreeze(graduated from), and mainland- we were evicted alot. My senior year(05') we had hurricanes back to back. It's a wreck now and I only roll through on my way to Orlando or Augustine. I still visit old classmates annually ❤❤❤
Great video bro! Looking to move near by! Does St Augustine have 9 months of beach weather or comparable?
Thank you for the feedback! And yeah, you can get a good 9 months of beach weather in St Augustine!
If you need any help with the move, feel free to reach out 👍🏼
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL cool thanks bro! Will do when I make my way
Moved to Ormond Beach then Daytona a few months ago. When I was in Ormond I would always come to Daytona bc it’s so much to do. Falling more in love with the area everyday. It’s a mix of everything. Black, white, hispanic, Indian..It’s a little hood..a little rich. It’s the best lol.
I lived in Daytona Beach for 12 years I might move back.
Great video
You should do a deep dive into margaritaville
I'm investigating the east coast of Florida including Ormond Beach and New Smyrna. I purchased a home in Panama City 2 years ago and plan to sell and move to the east coast. I noticed the home prices seem to be less in Daytona which is why i clicked on your video to learn more. I would like a spot that has an older demographic, not a lot of young families (no offense), quiet and low key. I appreciate the video.
Thank you so much for the comment and I'm glad you appreciated the video! I actually split time between the panhandle (near Panama City) and the Daytona Beach areas, so I would be more than happy to help you with selling your home AND helping you find the perfect place in Daytona! Feel free to give me a call or shoot me a text when you're ready to make a move 😊 386-589-3702
I would love to meet you and show me property. I'm looking at Sea dip condo to buy
@florida83 I’d love to help you out! Shoot me an email at adam.begin@LPTRealty.com or give me a call/text 386-589-3702
1966, Daytona Mainland, Jr. year, new drivers license, heaven!
I am interested in living there but would like to live in an area that’s not too busy. Are there any laid back areas near the water ? I don’t care for living close to bars and events. I wanna be near the ocean but not near crowds of people.
Yes, absolutely! There are tons of quiet streets within walking distance to the water…especially on the outskirts and cities surrounding Daytona!
Is there a Beach or a lake where you can swim? I mean swim in a calm water in a natural place.
Yep! Tons of beaches that you can chose from! If you’re swimming in fresh water, you just have to be mindful of gators, fyi. But I swim in the ocean and river all the time 👌🏼
What is a good area in Daytona Beach to live for a family?
LPGA and Pelican Bay are great neighborhoods for a family. If you’d like me to help you out with a home search, just let me know!
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL good to know! We’re looking too
Stu, if I can do anything to help out, just let me know!
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL will do! Would love to see a comparison of living in Ormond Beach vs. Daytona Beach for young families
Stu, I live in Ormond (have my whole life) and love it. Great place to raise a family
Humidity is a killer for the most people ////
It gets rough, for sure! Helps to have a pool home! Lol
Is it a “hustle and bustle” type of city or would you say it’s a laid back beach town?
Daytona is a little more hustle and bustle because it’s bigger, but there are towns that are near Daytona that are definitely more laid back beach towns 👍 🏝
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL thank you 🙏
@@FadingAway10 you’re welcome! If you decide to make a move and there’s anything in the world that I can do to help make that move easier, just let me know 😊
As a new investor, I just started getting some multi-family listings pop up in my email box for the Daytona Florida area. I'm from Michigan, livingin Texas for 17 years.
I Don't know anything about real estate or Florida. Any advice you can give for out of state investors?
The first thing I thought about is Hurricane insurance. But other than that is there anything else I should have top of mind?
Hi!!! Thanks for the comment! I’d love to have a quick convo on the phone so I could hear a little bit more about the type of investing you do, your goals, what you’re looking for…etc. that way I can give you advice that would be useful for you! Give me a call/text sometime…I’d love to chat 😊 👍
Is there a good job market in Daytona Beach? Looking for plastic surgery industry/ medical. I dont want Miami lol Thanks!
Yes, there are tons of medical practices all over Daytona and the surrounding areas!
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL Great news! Thank you!! 😊
@tamarm6981 you’re welcome! If you’re not working with a realtor, let me know…happy to help you find a place!
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL Thank you!! I plan on moving from Chicago to Florida in October this year. Do you do for rentals? I’m not buying yet. Want to try it out the first year and see how I like it and how the job goes. Then decide to stay there or another part of Florida.
Please add time stamps
Any suggestions on good, 3 bdrm apartments in Daytona or Port Orange that don’t break the bank?
What’s your price range for monthly rent? Rentals are soooo inflated right now. There are new apartment complexes being built everywhere around town, but they are filling up almost as quickly as they’re being built.
what is the best apartments near health blvd for families
Sands Parc and Tomoka Pointe are both newer complexes near health Blvd
@@livinginPanhandleCentralFL tnx. i'll check that out🙂
Forgot the j store. Epic landmark
what's the j store?
Best thrift shops ever!
My wife would absolutely agree with you on that! Lol
St. Augustine is nice but its really touristy and packed a lot.
It has been getting busier, for sure! Still so nice this time of year though…especially with all of the Christmas lights up 👍
getting to expensive now.
Lies
it can get very cold
Lows in the teens??? According to the Weather Channel the record low in Daytona was 32 set in 1952.
Thanks for the comment! Some parts of Florida don’t get down into the teens, but Daytona is far enough North that it can get that cold sometimes. Here’s an article (NOAA as the source) with the lows for each year since 1937. You’ll see several years with lows in the teens. Hope this helps and hope you have a great day! www.currentresults.com/Yearly-Weather/USA/FL/Daytona-Beach/extreme-annual-daytona-beach-low-temperature.php
Couldn't finish your video....
The Music was annoying.
I hear ya. This was one of the first videos I made…been learning what works and doesn’t work since this one.
Thanks for your feedback!
I listened to the music on your channel, NOT any better than what's in this video! Stop being negative, Thumbs down!
