We decided to do some stealth minivan camping in the city tonight, as we were in Liverpool for a family meal. The cheapest way to stop over in a UK city is definitely by doing some car stealth camping in a city stealth van - up with car stealth camping UK !!
Urban stealth car camping is also a great way to see the city as you can park up in multiple spots and take a walking tour of the city!
Info on my stealth camper van conversion / stealth camping van / stealth camping minivan : It's a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect (long wheel base), we removed the rear 2 seats so the car became a 5 seater, and I'm able to to transport the my boot jump camper conversion kit around while still retaining 5 seats all the time. I added privacy blinds and some basic curtains to turn it into a stealth camper van conversion which I use for urban stealth car camping whenever I can.
This DIY micro camper build is basically a homemade boot jump conversion kit, and I based it on the Amdro boot jump (which costs around £2500) - I built my own self build micro camper for fraction of the cost, so I could do urban car stealth camping.

Nicely done folks. I think it went well 👍. You picked a smart spot, there will have been plenty of cctv to hopefully avoid the chance of anyone trying to break in. The spot outside the cathedral may have really emptied out after 11pm, and you may have been the only car left on a road that isn’t overlooked. There’s always a slight chance in that situation that some fool will want to break in. Sad, but true.

Great video guys. I play keyboards in a function band around Scotland and have set up my car as a camper so that I don't have the long drive home. Like yourselves some of my stealth camps are rural and some are urban. Keep the videos coming.

Not when in up and coming stealth mode but in my berlingo I’m able to make the bed the full length of the vehicle by some clever inventions. A couple of weeks away from trying her out but so looking forward to it for sure

Hi, it's a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect (2017 model) there is a van version of it too, which is the Transit Connect. The 'Grand' version is long wheel base so it gives quite a lot of extra room for the bed. I'm not a fan of Caddys either, I viewed a few of them but the interior and dash look very 'dated', so I bought the Ford instead, very pleased with it!
@@ManontheOutside thank you there's no way I would be getting any van size as I'm 4.11 😂 I'm fully prepared not to be able to stand up lol. I only want a single bed also so I'm thinking that could be quite a lot of room to utilize. Thank you!
