Once a lot of people listen to your song, some of them will become fans of yours so in the future you can post your music independently and there will be an audience for it. Look at the about section of the Strobe Music channel, there is an applications link. Artists submit their music there, Strobe Music decides if they think it is a good song, regardless of the artists popularity, they post it. That gets more people hearing your music and clicking on the links to your socials in the description. It's a mutually beneficial relationship. It's like how games have demo versions. Is it "rip" if the demo has more downloads than the full game? Of course not, that is expected. But when people play a demo, if they like it they may go on to play the full game, so overall it is better for your popularity, even if at surface value it seems like you are giving away a product for free (such as letting someone else post your own song).
