I'm incredibly happy to hear that!!. It's such a wonderful craft, and I'm glad to have played a part in bringing back your passion. Keep sewing and enjoying every moment of it!💜💜
I am bindging on your channel and so happy to find this one on knits! Excellent explanation on the different knits and needles. Thank you so much for this video. Now I know which knit fabric to buy and what needle to use. So happy. 👏🏼😀
For the double needle and the issue of needing a second spool of thread, you could fill up a second bobbin of your thread and use that as your second spool. For hemming you don’t really need much thread so this works well for me.
I love this video, it was very helpful!! My one question that I haven’t seen discussed on any video is what type of bobbin to use. Should I use a heavy weight metal bobbin, or are the lightweight plastic bobbins ok?
I have a dress pattern that calls for light weight woven or stable knit. I chose a velvet knit, but the pattern is called to cut on the bias. Im afraid to cut my knit on the bias. Is it necessary?
Have a question about knits or something you'd love to see in another video? Drop a comment below 💕
I wind another bobbin and add it to the thread spool when using a twin needle. It resolves needing two spools of thread just for a hem 😊
Genius! :-)
Thank you for such a wonderful vid. I have never sew with knits so with your help it is a little less daunting

Great tip! Using a second bobbin as a spool is a clever idea for double needle work. Thanks for sharing! 💜
Thank you again for a fantastic video. I absolutely love your jacket is it one of your fabulous patterns ?
oh!! I'm glad you like it!! I haven't published it yet, but I'm working on it!! I hope to upload it as soon as possible 😍😍💜
Hi Christine! Can you do a video about or share the pattern for the jacket you're wearing? I love it!
Hi!! I'm definitely on it! I hope to post the pattern and make a video soon 💜💜💜💜🌟
Hi Christine, how do you do the blind hem for stretch fabric? I’ve only ever used that method for woven fabrics (and I’m rusty).
Hi! I have this youtube video that can surely help you: ruclips.net/video/XUFj0yWdOkY/видео.html 💜
Thank you ☺️
I love this video, it was very helpful!! My one question that I haven’t seen discussed on any video is what type of bobbin to use. Should I use a heavy weight metal bobbin, or are the lightweight plastic bobbins ok?
I always use plastic bobbins but you could test both in your machine 💜

Your fabric sounds gorgeous! Since it's a knit, I wouldn't cut on the bias 💜
@ thank you so much. Love your channel🌹
Do you use the stretch needles on your serger also?
I actually don't! But you definitely could if you were sewing with swim-wears, regularly I use the needle that o used in the video!😁💜
