      I was ready to!!!lol... Couldn't figure out what he was doing, then heard him say, "I'm getting out." Damn near broke my heart, but at least he's ok. He didn't go out there expecting to lead the race, and damn near won it!!! No doubt in my mind, he could race full time in Xfinity and compete!!! Dale Yeah!!!

    I have been a fan as,
    as long I can remember, since the 70’s..
    Watching your father compete and watching you to retirement.
    NASCAR just is no the same without you behind the wheel.
    Completing.
    Isn’t ironic that the views went down when Dale jr retired..?
    I know you are still there producing and finding great talent to continue the sport of NASCAR.
    NASCAR needs a Earnhardt racing period.

    What a wild night for Dale Jr. at Bristol. A fast car, going to the front to lead some laps. And then he even lit it up with an electrical fire inside the car cabin. This was a close call, as Dale Jr.’s fire suit actually started to melt and burn. He was literally on fire here. Smartly he drops down to pit road and the pit crew from the #20 car runs out to help Dale Jr. Get out of his car. Soon after the track safety personnel arrived to extinguish the fire. Near miss, close call, excitement, wild night!

    Great night of racing, and you made it home safe, Jr. That’s what all of us fans know is the best part of your night of whuppin’ you put on the field. As for the mess that the fire extinguishers made inside your car, Dale, I wish NASCAR would switch to the FireAid fire extinguisher products. NHRA uses FireAid on all of the race cars and motorcycles, the fires get put out, and the vehicles can get ready for the next round without all of the white chemical powder mess. It would be neat to see NASCAR create a more driver accessible fire bottle that could be activated with a hose and a valve inside the car to put out small fires inside the car and create another layer of safety for the drivers. FireAid would work just fine in that application. Glad you are safe, looking forward to seeing your efforts at the Homestead race next month.

    • @73novacustom76
      @73novacustom76 Год назад +1

      On a race car that needs to be as light as possible yeah. The only option other than that is aluminum which is also conductive but is also heavier. On sports car style cars like dpi and lmp the whole car is carbon fiber to save weight, so there’s nothing but that around the electrical wiring.
