Thanks a lot, Jennifer! Hope your knee gets better soon. Just take it slow as you learn the proper tekk for smoother crosses. Sure you'll get this!! 👍🏻
I have seen quite a few videos on learning how to jump rope crisscross cross overs. Yours is one of the best. You really break it down. Awesome. Please update your title by adding the words, 'how to jump rope'. This video deserves more views.
@@rontalonI think the reason is - and I am not trying to disrespect you, but just telling the truth - I'm almost 2 minutes into a 6 minute video and the tutorial hasn't even started yet. My guess it's to do with amount of time till the actual content begins is offputting.
Hi Ron Enjoyed this video. Trying to master the criss cross, getting there but slow going! I am using a plastic rope and although the length is correct would you recommend a heaver type of rope to slow the movement down? Thanks
Hi there! I would recommend the standard 5mm PVC rope. However, using a heavier rope gives better feedback and control. Whichever you feel more comfortable with is fine as long as you're able to execute properly. Hope this helps. Thanks!
Bro i have been skipping intensely since january this year. Now im at a point where i easily get shin splints even if i rest for 2 days. What do yo do with this? Its disappointing to be close to mastering tricks but i have to stop since it really gets painful really fast
Perhaps you could just rest for some time until the pains are gone. It is only normal to feel it often especially if you've been skipping intensely. May I ask how many time do you work out per week?
I would usually just rest it out for a few days without engaging in any leg workout. Rest is essential for recovery so you need to give it enough time before working out. As you resume to jumping, you might as well take it lightly and just gradually intensify in the following days.
Hi Ron, 👋
That's a really awesome tutorial - thanks loads! Just recovering from a knee injury so keen to improve my crossovers!

@@rontalon i usually for 3 days straight then rest for 2.
And sessions run for about half an hour with rest.
