HEY thank you for that. It helped me swap drag washers and get the reel back together, with some cleaning and lube. The music is excellent and a good idea to use some old white label post-rave 12's. I know background music on youtube must be challenging with the "copyright police" in effect, unless you are a musician. Dog.
@@DGxxxK1 Thanks for the reply. I sold my Steez A to get a Conquest 2021. JLS sent me an old 2014 version and the reel felt perfect other than the line guide being a bit loose, no looser than other reels though

Is it normal for the line guide to have some play? Like it feels a little loose?
yes, its normal. if it fits too tightly, it will clogged with minimal dirt or dust

yes, in Europe we fish with quite thin lines, and for those it is better if the brake can slide and does not stick.

no, BFS Conquest is based on the 2015 Conquest 100.
Why is it that nobody cleans and lubes the bearings...flushing out bearings etc
do not clean or lube closed bearings because the reel will be loud., just the high speed spool bearings need cleaning and lubricating...
