As for India being the bridge, that has shown itself very obviously since the start of Russia’s SMO, by reselling Russian oil and gas to western countries while making a handsome profit. This in itself is akin to modern USA business model, make tons of money by inserting itself between two parties. While the profit is amazing for not much input needed, it does not paint India in a good light, it makes India look like a vulture that doesn’t have any integrity and will not earn trust from its most important partners (if there is indeed important partners). @@RuruBasuMallik He mentioned in a discussion with Danny Haiphong and in a podcast with Scott Ritter that part of the reason there was so much done this year during Russia's presidency is that Brazil is more worried about the G20 meeting they're hosting and COP25. Totally disagree with Pepe's views on Israel and the Israeli leadership. Anyone who is cornered and constantly targeted will become aggressively defensive. A greater Israel is likely to be but maybe not so geographically as large as perhaps what Ankit ji defines. 🙏🏽
Israel will not even be a thing by the end of this decade. Only thing that is keeping Israel in existence is American empire which is also rapidly declining
Western countries may don't know that, lower most earning family in India have atleast 100 -200 gram of gold at home. Lower middle class having 500 gram, middle middle class family having 500 to 1 kg gold. Higher middle class family 5 kg. Ankit Shah is saying right. Indians hold much more gold than the world, because it is connected with Hindu society believes.
Ankit Shah should have show his Golden Ring and say " Now imagine 1.5 Billion people have atleast One Gold Ring for Men, One Gold Chain for Women if not More " . When Pepe Escobar asked " where's that Gold ? " by private holdings of Indians.
Been following both of these two separately, so nice novelty to see them together. Would go better if Pepe drops his ego and opens his mind, but perhaps he'd dissolve if he did that
Pepe is angry because Brazil didn’t allow Venezuela join in BRICS group but he is ignoring the latest facts that ended on this action. Maduro simply doesn’t respect the Tratado de Barbados ignoring the Brazil’ leadership on The region and that was the main reason of this veto. Many others aggressions from Maduro during the election and after his election so I couldn’t expect anything different from Brazil.
I still believe it is an intervention by the United States but your point of view is good. Brazil should not have participated in this agreement as a guarantor. I was a clear intervention on venezuelan sovereignty. Maduro also gave clear signals that he would not fulfill such a bad agreement. Brazil made a fool of itself.
Hi Anastasia how are you, I have a question can you maybe ask Pepe Escobar if he wants to get into geopolitical trands with Dr Oualaalou I think that will be an interesting one, thanks in advance bye
It's not Pepe Escobar specifically. It's brazilian culture. We are known to do that naturally. There is a video called "Brazilians don’t say NO (NÃO) | Brazilian Portuguese" from "Speaking Brazilian Language School" channel. The Channel explains our culture better.
Great discussion! Thank you! Sorry to see how boxed in Lulu is. Maybe Claudia Sheinbaum will step up as leftist Latin American inspirer, along with Maduro. Hopeful political developments in Colombia also. Interesting how "civilizational"- based change, which I attribute to China and Russia, is affecting India with ideas of spreading their civilizational ideas - or maybe India/Modu thought of it first, but under my radar?
Thank You Anastasia, for an interesting discussion. The effect of the USA buying influence, has already been impaled on some Fiat Currency, that seemed like a last resort effort by Nixon, to confront the 1960's spending that challenged the US Currency supplies. The Vietnam Conflict was not paid for with Fiat Money until mid 1980's, and the Ukraine Conflict now presents a similar problem the the that economic shift of responsibility to debt, that Moslem's challenged thousands of years ago, once again presents to another US Administration? The concept of added Debt that carries the burden of compound interest, that notices the USA distribute T-Notes to willing buyers to support the Fiat Currency, now seems severely challenged? So where have all the Buyers gone? The Saudi Investors who apparently danced around the Usury issue, as the "Petro Dollar" agreement was in effect, have departed. China once owned 18% of long term T-Notes, and they are dumping them as fast as they Mature. Japan as the big Contributor Colony is doing likewise. Who is left to support the failed currency that was introduced to overcome a failed currency, from spending on an expensive Colonial Conflict? The FED who were promised that Treasury would sell T-Notes as the FED printed their Notes, even attempt to buy the T-Notes to provide some security, as a conflict of interest is presented by that effort? What major economic miracle will be next? Where in the White House Couch Cushions, will this Administration find enough Gas Money to enable the Fleets ability to provide a vision of Gunboat Diplomacy? They certainly have difficulty sailing into the Black Sea?
Again you need a good editor. The discussion was quite great but the segment needs more questioning!! Ankit Shah All time Fav - thankyou for this discussion makes sure to pitch Dr. Shah with other economists as well

Rama said the aim of the new state was to promote a tolerant version of Islam on which Albania prides itself. The tiny Western Balkan country, saved Jewish refugees from the Nazis during World War II and sheltered Afghans after the Taliban came to power three years ago. Albanians are also proud of giving to the world the Catholic Church's famed humanitarian, Mother Teresa.
If Pepe doesn't even know the undisputed fact that Indian housewives have 15% of all the gold in the world, he shouldn't be commenting on BRICS and geopolitics
@ThinkBRICS Gold worth $1trillion lies in Shri Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple alone in Thiruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala. I can't even ask you to stay "updated", because this isn't something that happened recently. This is ancient truth
It's natural to feel passionate about unique cultural facts, but let's keep perspective. Private gold holdings in India aren't commonly known or widely verified in global discussions; most sources on this are from Indian publications. Pepe Escobar is well-informed, but he’s human and can’t know every detail, especially niche ones. So let's ease up; everyone’s here to learn, and geopolitics is a vast field with many layers beyond just gold.
@@chandlerhbk08 Escobar doesn’t actually label himself a ‘BRICS expert’, he offers broader insights into global dynamics. While gold holdings are interesting, they’re just one aspect of India’s complex role in BRICS. No analyst can know every detail, and it doesn’t lessen the value of his perspectives. Let’s focus on the bigger picture he’s discussing!
The USA appears to still treat the Spanish Empire that they acquired in a Hostile Takeover in 1898, as if they were US colonies. The Philippians have been exploited blatantly as a Naval Base, and their low cost Labor seems to have provided some useful resources. Now they seem to be a Missile Base. But South America and Mexico seem to all be acting as if they noticed the economic demise of the USA. Escobar was simply being polite about US relations with South America.
Peper Escobar doesn't like Isreal's decision to defend itself militarily....any country wouldn't agree to that. Dr. Ankit Shah brought great points to the table and Pepe did look like at sea.

@@RuruBasuMallik maybe they should change it to VRICS… 😃
@@RuruBasuMallik He mentioned in a discussion with Danny Haiphong and in a podcast with Scott Ritter that part of the reason there was so much done this year during Russia's presidency is that Brazil is more worried about the G20 meeting they're hosting and COP25. Thinks it's ridiculous that next year's BRICS+ summit will be held in June instead of later in the year to gather more data about the launch BRICS Bridge.
He also said the stain on this years conference was Brazil vetoing Venezuela as a partner nation, and said that because there are a lot of pro-wall street Atlanticists in Sao Paolo that Lula is skirting on very thin ice with Washington. He did mention that the other nations should consider rotating the presidency to another founding member for all these reasons
@apostolostvable Thank you so much for sharing this. Appreciate it.
Terrific!
Think BRICS, Ankit comes in JAIPUR DIALOGUES, our nationalist think tank. So this connection would be good.
We know, he left Kazan and went directly to the Jaipur Dialogues event!
Restoring TIK TOK won't improve india china relationship. China will not invest in India or help india develop into a manufacturing power house... but it is a start of a long journey of regaining trust... That India had destroyed long ago
❤❤
Pepe Escobar great to see you again
Bharat should form the WORLD COUNCIL to be the universal guide to our world headquartered in New Delhi and offer it's services to the world.
So proud of Ankit Shah!!!
That's the best half hour yet 👍 jackpot, Pepe is gold and probably one of the best if not THE BEST ❤️
Add unlimited Unaccounted Gold reserves and Historical Diamonds in Temples. That's simply great
Ankit Shah should have show his Golden Ring and say " Now imagine 1.5 Billion people have atleast One Gold Ring for Men, One Gold Chain for Women if not More " . When Pepe Escobar asked " where's that Gold ? " by private holdings of Indians.
Too short of a video. Both have a lot to share. Bring them again!
Very good debate.
Well done!
Great Q&A with Ankit and Pepe ❤🙏🙏🙏
Hi Anastasia how are you, I have a question can you maybe ask Pepe Escobar if he wants to get into geopolitical trands with Dr Oualaalou I think that will be an interesting one, thanks in advance bye
Woah
pepe was avoiding most of the question he was beating around the bush
It's not Pepe Escobar specifically. It's brazilian culture. We are known to do that naturally. There is a video called "Brazilians don’t say NO (NÃO) | Brazilian Portuguese" from "Speaking Brazilian Language School" channel. The Channel explains our culture better.
@@joaogilberto3901yes but a great analysis by him. dr ankit has some predictions that seem crazy when you hear them for the first time.
He keeps one hand in his lap
Sure I'll check out@@joaogilberto3901
@@Ragaji12 , yes but the world is crazy. I don't doubt Dr Ankit's predictions will come to pass.
Excellent debate please have more discussion
👍 Quite interesting and entertaining.
Excellent 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
The host should have found a better match for Ankit Shah.
Too short, would like to hear more
We respect🇮🇳🇷🇺
Shah with other economists as well
We get your point on wanting more questions, totally valid! Keep in mind, though, this was a quick talk in the middle of the BRICS summit, so time was tight. Plus, editing resources are always a balancing act. We’re thrilled Ankit Shah could join, and Escobar’s insights were invaluable. Definitely planning more talks like this, and we’ll look into bringing in other economists. Thanks for the feedback; we’re always working to improve!
Its true that Indians love gold and buy gold during festive season and wedding. The temples in India have lots gold. Chinese loves gold as well like the Indians. I think the Chinese people ownership maybe a close second gold ownership or just ahead😊
Escobar is in denial about gold that every household in india holds.
Even a street food vendor on indian streets have on an average minimum of 5g gold in his household and this can be considered as conservative estimate.
In restaurants and on the streets, Indians often consume food coated with gold and silver daily.
2 legends
Let Ankit argue with Pravin Shawney
What is this? DEBATES? I LOVE debates. No quicker way to find common ground.
Difference between foreigner who thinks they are the most intelligent is exposed completely by Ankit Shah 😂😂😂
Pepe is more intelligent and knowledgeable than Ankit Shah but Pepe was confused by gold
Loved Both. Let's hoe Eu is not going Crusader Mode. I think that the clerics have been thoroughly discredited.
So it would have to be politically motivated a type of Fascism backed by military. Then cause of historic reasons and experience of resistance and social Media I doubt that.
I wish Pepe had expanded on Latin America !
Cuba Nicaragua and Venezuela will for a new bridgehead and strengthen ties.
I would love to see a comparative analysis of private Gold n Silver holdings per Cty and comparisons with Central Banks. Excellent video thanks 🙏
Albania has the best Plan.
Albania will transform the Tirana-based Bektashi Muslims, an Islamic Sufi order, into a sovereign state to promote moderation, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, per Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama. The proposal will be 1/4 the size of the Vatican. But it's influence Will be Immense.❤
If Pepe doesn't even know the undisputed fact that Indian housewives have 15% of all the gold in the world, he shouldn't be commenting on BRICS and geopolitics
don't exaggerate
@@ThinkBRICS he's supposed to know about gold holdings if he claims to be a BRICS expert
Let’s focus on the bigger picture he’s discussing!
escobar is blinded by his biases
Agreed.
Ankit way more bias but he is indian
The USA appears to still treat the Spanish Empire that they acquired in a Hostile Takeover in 1898, as if they were US colonies.
The Philippians have been exploited blatantly as a Naval Base, and their low cost Labor seems to have provided some useful resources. Now they seem to be a Missile Base.
But South America and Mexico seem to all be acting as if they noticed the economic demise of the USA.
Escobar was simply being polite about US relations with South America.
@@biggpicture2930 ankits predicts the events way before in advance. This is not bias. This is truth
@@biggpicture2930says someone who's extremely prejudiced against Indians 😂
Peper Escobar doesn't like Isreal's decision to defend itself militarily....any country wouldn't agree to that. Dr. Ankit Shah brought great points to the table and Pepe did look like at sea.
Having a pipe dream of Greater Israel is defense??
Sun energy, water and population is that required to be rich.. India has all three , western world making slaves and looting the money and the politicians from Khangress were supporting loot..Excellent Ankit sir
🎉
Wonder why this ‘escobar’ was called in the first place
He is the reason people came here for
