Ahoy my friends! Today I will be running you guys through Floors 79-80 of the Cetra Tower!! Definitely the hardest thing we've fought since B70, but with the right strategy going in, this fight isn't that hard at all! Especially because these fights, especially B80, can be turtled! Thanks for the vid. Just one mistake with floor 80. There is a dps check in form of a timer that will activate later on. I can survive all the attacks. Don't even have to break the sigils. But damage wise I'm not doing good. I do have the damage stats - but sadly only with physical builds. (Yuffies attack boost ultimate also doesn't help.) Probably have to wait on a lightning costume/weapon for Tifa, Aerith or Yuffie. Barret still only has his starter clothes and his story solo mission was already a very close call for me. ^^

(A few minutes earlier and even without triggering the timer.) - I used; Tifa with Lifeguard Waves OP10 + Omnistrike OP6 (high attack power down) + Feather Style costume (buff/debuff extension) Aerith with Raging Sphere OP10 (circle break) + Garnet's Rod OP4 + Floral Gown costume (buff/debuff extension) Sephiroth with Protector's Blade OP3 (circle break) + Kuja's Spirit Blade OP2 + Lethal Style costume. Boosting Sephis magic damage with Garnet's Rod did the trick in this fight for me, just like you recommended doing in the video. Glad the weapon finally got its time to shine =^-^= Previously I tried with Aerith to heal everyone and give them shields. Survivability was easier like this, but at high attack down the shields are fortunately not needed. I also gave all 3 units healing esuna (fatigue), circle materia and normal cure. Maybe this will help other players too - but I guess not many players have pulled for all these costumes and weapons. Your build seems easier to achieve if you haven't neglected Barret as much as I have. ^^

I feel like these worms have been one of the most annoying/hardest enemies to fight outside of special fights(Crash event, Summons). They hit SO hard even when debuffed!
@@BodhiJMSRyder just sucks my ksb is ob1, but I'll have to try with that for b80 since I can't seem to fit in a weapon with aoe patk break that goes to high without losing something critical
I'm not 100% positive but I think the LB R. ability does not give Aeriths LB a boost in healing, which I think it should! It is technically a LB so that would also make the Guard Stick even better for her!
@@BodhiJMSRyder Fatigue makes it so that phys based attacks take 2 extra ATB to use(You'll see them flashing red) and Fog is the same but for magical. Darkness makes it so Phys attacks can not be used until healed, and same with Silence for Magic attacks.
Wait... doesn't fatigue not also cause materia spells to take two more ATB bars? So it becomes a must heal status for sigil breaks? Or are magic based materias also not targeted by this? Not sure anymore.
Tons of F2P players can clear this. However if you are a new player it will take some time to catch up. Time here, is the more important factor, i think, then money, depending on when you started the game 🙏🏽

Honestly you didn't even need to heal Aeriths or Sephs Fatigue since they both are using all magic based abilities.
Oh really? What exactly does Fatigue do? Hahaha i always get Fog/Fatigue mixed up and just assume they are both the same thing sometimes rofl

I think you can also poison them to make the fight easier. But even at way lower OB levels, these floors are pretty easy.
