This might just be the first real "consequence" Roman has ever faced. He FIRED her at the behest of his father, when she did nothing wrong, and has been a stalwart and competent ally to the Roys. I can see both perspectives in this scene, most people can, but I think I'd probably act in the same way as Gerri here after that kind of betrayal.
Hell yeah. He was so cavalier and nonchalant when he fired her. Having no concept of a career she worked and sacrificed for. Although If it had been one of the other kids, I don’t think it would’ve been so hurtful. After this episode I’m starting to think she may have some sort of feelings for him.
Although I'm kinda happy for Gerri. Maybe her firing is a blessing in disguise so she can get tf out of dodge from the Roys. But kinda unlikely since she is a key character for the show.
Gerri should very well know that Roman merely served as the "messenger". If anything, in this scene, Roman acted as the bigger person - outright with his feelings and did not force Gerri to stay. This scene is by far the biggest character growth for Roman, imo.
Roman really messed up so when he says he's sad he doesn't mean just about Logan, he's also sad about how things turned out between them and it's all his fault too, makes perfect sense Gerri doesn't want to talk to him.
It was his fault she was fired in the first place. Logan wanted to get rid of her so Roman would be "clean" (Gerri had those pics) to start working with him. Gerri has the right to be mad
@@cainandabel7059 They addressed that several times? She had a golden parachute and didn't WANT to be seen as someone sexually-harrassed in a job she was great and competant at for years.
Poor Roman. He was outrightly looking for some comfort from someone, anyone, but especially Gerri, but she understandably wants nothing to do with it. “How does it serve my interests?” after all.
Why aren't people taking into account that only Logan/Roy/Kerri/Gerri knew about Gerri being fired? Now that Logan's dead, this would be the perfect time for Gerri and Roman to solidify their alliance. Roman desires Gerri but he also Respects her as an Ally,a Co worker and even as the woman who influenced him to finally take his Management Training seriously after all this time and that led to him orchestrating massive moves for their families success like the Next Presidential candidate being mostly his idea and the Corporate buyout. I understand Gerri being upset, but she also needs look at how being close to Roman has "benefited her interests" considering he's never sold her out before like at the Boar on the Foor game and he's influenced some major Promotions because he Respects her Work. RIGHT NOW Is the moment for Gerri to work her Magic on Roman, or for Roman to step up and take himself SERIOUSLY and if he wants Gerri he needs to fight to keep her by his side as his Aide or even as THE REAL POWER behind his THRONE. The only wildcards are Tom/Greg/Kerri.

Yeah but Roman didn't actually do anything, he just gave her a heads up of his fathers intentions. If anything he helped her.
Gerri behaved as always with dignify. She is not his mother or lover .

but when she had this leverage why make her mad? this show is so stupid sometimes

He was really shitty to her. He also told her she wasnt good at her job. Id say he deserved worse.
"I'm pretty sad"...Who f... cares! 😒
I was thinking he'd ask her for a favour
Thank god this show isn't that fucked up
Yet
I thought the same and I don't think we're wrong
You mean a sexual favor?
That was a cold and sad sandwich 😢
I guess she's not fired then?
